Chest Spots\Acne

    Hello people

Has anyone ever gotten a sudden bout of Chest Acne/Spots? In the last three weeks my chest has just been covered in spots/acne which has now started to expand to my shoulders and between my boobs. At first it wasn't worrying as I taught it was just a heat rash but since the sun has made a disappearance the spots seem to be getting worst. I drink more than 2 litres of water a day so I know I'm not dehydrated. I never wear perfume as I have found I break out when I do, no matter which perfume it is. I used the Triple Dry deodorant on my arm pits so I know it's not from any deodorants. I haven't change my washing liquid. I barely wear make up as it is. I don't wear jewellery. Basically I'm boring.

Edit: boyfriend also pointed out small little spots on my back (cheers!!)

Has anyone ever had this problem?

I've started to use the Aloe Vera Gel that the chemist recommended to me so I'm hoping that works

Had it before and when it didnt go away for six weeks, I went to the GP and he gave me a geo called Duac - bloody pricey, 30-odd euro. It worked though, have never seen them again!

Is this a prescription or can you just walk into the chemist and get it?

You could try lactic acid or niacinamide with zinc from the ordinary and use retinoid once a week building up to twice.

Prescription, but tbh if you have unexplained acne appearing as an adult, you should be seeing your GP anyway to check for hormone imbalances and whatever else.

Went to the chemist and she prescribed me Hydrocortisone. It's all I can afford at the minute :( I really can't afford €60. She said to use that for the next 7 days, twice a day and if it doesn't clear then I have to look at going to a GP.

Hoping to see if anyone else had this issue and if they have any remedies before I go to a doctor. Seems a fair bit to spend if I can get a cream or something less for €4
