    hi,
have a small spikey looking weed that is very fast growing and spreading around the edges of lawn - anyone know what it is and how best to get rid of it without spraying?

    thanks

If this is what it is, it looks rather pretty...they say it has flowers in midsummer - may have been sown on purpose?

It's actually Sagina procumbens, which is less exciting and perhaps more 'weedy'!
