For Sale upgraded Ares Tavor €210

The 9mm gearbox has a been cleaned shimmed and re-greased
The gear set has been short stroked -1 tooth for better high speed running
An SHS 3 steel tooth light weight piston is fitted (now 2 steel teeth due to short stroking)
The AOE (Angle Of Engagement) has been modified
The original motor has been replaced with a G&P M120 High Speed motor
A MosFet has been fitted, wired to the rear and is fitted with a Deans connector
The gearbox features a quick change spring facility (very handy is you wish to game abroad)

A Top 20mm rail is fitted to mount your favorite optics and additional 20mm side rail has been added to carry additional lights or lasers etc
The charging handle moves the bolt cover for adjusting to hop-up which is held in the rear position until released by the bolt catch in the rear of the body
The Bolt release lever also doubles as a De-cocking lever to release spring tension
It features folding front and rear sights

The original barrel has been replaced with a 430mm long 6.04 Tight Bore barrel
A G&G green hop-up rubber is fitted for better range
The Tavor uses standard M4 mags
Shooting at 314-317fps with 0.2g BB

It is most definitely a Proline as it is made by Ares
I believe you are thinking of the Tavor made by S&T when you are thinking Sportsline which is a lot cheaper and not of the same quality

Just tested with a 7.4v lipo x 1200mah 20c battery and the reps were 1089 per min or 18.15 per sec
A larger capacity with a higher C rating would increase the rate of fire

As regards the MosFet I believe it is a Dream Army MosFet but I am not 100% sure

Reading through the specs of the Tavor Sports line I can confirm that MY Tavor is a Proline

The Sportline has a plastic gearbox Mine is a 9mm Metal gearbox (see photo, the photo was taken prior to fitting the MosFet)
MY gearbox also has a quick change spring facility

The Sportsline has a mock charging handle Mine is a working handle which when pulled locks the sliding bolt cover in the rear position to allow hop-up adjustment which you release with the lever near the rear of the stock and as said in the main description also operates on the anti-reversal latch which releases spring tension

I have been in contact with the original owner and was informed that the Tavor was originally bought in Go Tactical in Bray who are sadly no longer trading

Just be aware that some of the S&T Sportlines DID actually come with a METAL Gearbox, not plastic.

However, the S&T Sportslines also had a horrible shiny brittle plastic body, that looks horrendous compared with the pictures above.

Thanks for the info and yes I did know that some of the S&T Tavors came with a Metal gearbox but the material used is not of the same quality and finish as used in the Ares Tavor
But the question d.one was asking was about the Sportsline made by Ares and if mine was one of those which it is not

What is included? Any accessories? Mags? Strap?
Interested but stretching the budget with nothing else.

If you could do a clip firing at targets at various ranges single and auto, (from behind showing BB flight) may be enough to convince me /others. (Be great if everyone did, nothing beats seeing what your interested in, in action.)

Comes as seen in the photo with a 450rnd hi-cap mag
As I don't skirmish I have no place to do a video showing it firings at different ranges
I may be able to do a short video of the Tavor shooting in both semi and full auto when I am back home on Monday

Having trouble getting a good quality video of the Tavor firing as the quality from the camera in my phone is pretty bad
