Well, I might as well jump in!

My blog (although I update in rather haphazardly) is called Dapper Irish and Butch. It's centred on traditional mens style/ lifestyle stuff from the perspective of a butch identified woman. Also hair pomade reviews/ advice/ etc.

Lots of LGBTQ stuff, menswear accessories etc. Having the accompanying Instagram (although tbh it feels more like a general personal Insta rather than a "curated" one to go with my blog) has actually really helped hook me into this whole other world of similar women which has been kind of amazing.

I've been blogging since 2009, mainly a music reviewer and writing about the festival experience. Hi all,

Been working on my blog for a few months now and I reckon I've got enough content to finally start trying to get a bit of traffic going through it.

I guess it's a bit of an existential blog... like there's not enough of those already... In short:

The world we live in is a complicated mess and we're all in here together trying our best to get by. How do we make sense of the intense sensory overload that is our day to day lives? That's what I hope to find out. Not that I expect to be able to solve any real problems, but I'd still like to document the learning experience.

But if anyone has the time to check it out I'd love to hear your thoughts:

Gangsters, gunmen, murder, mayhem and riots. I have been writing about The Irish Mob for quite a while now, the website / blog is active for the past year and I have built up quite a following on Facebook.

I write about crime, starting from the Gangs of New York from the 1820's right up to the Prohibition Era through to modern day, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. All historic, I also write about the social conditions of the time, the neighbourhoods like the Five Points of Manhattan, Irishtown in Brooklyn, Hell's Kitchen, the Kerry Patch in St. Louis and more, little bits of everything.
