Do you not check your invoice each week?

I have a Topaz Fuel Card and a DCI Card.

I get better value on the Topaz card which I have since the statoil day’s.

The DCI Card is a very last resort.

Unusual post for someone who has just registered and would not appear to be backing up his claim.

Account was registered in October 2008.

Still bloody weird though to wait 9 years to write a first post.

Yes, it may well have been 9 years, but I've had nothing to say really until i got fobbed off by Topaz. I've gone through every invoice for the past 9 years and worked out the price per litre and compared it with the average monthly price published by the AA.

Same situation here. Ripped off of thousands over the years. They were sending an their price on a weekly email. Price was ex vat and the girl receiving the email never checked.. since we copped it we have saved over 150 plus a month.

Invoices are designed to deceive you if you just glance at it.

The ex vat price is in bold - no vat inclusive price is given, so unless you double check you will miss it.

Makes a mockery of their "value price" promise - it relates to prices charged by different fuel cards and not the stations themselves.

In reality, unless you check every couple of weeks and understand that they will only ever quote and print ex vat prices, you will find that very quickly they will start jumping the prices until the vat exclusive price is slightly under the vat inclusive price at the pumps - thus many people thinking they are getting value when in fact they are being ripped off.

Unless you need the vat receipts, or require it for expenses it simply is not worth it
