Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    How badly injured is Eriksen?

Illness not injury so he should be ok

Aurier RC for his first PL game. Why am I not surprised :pac:! Trippier stays for one more GW.
Bavies inexplicabilly being dropping helps too.

Chalobah to go under the knife: "We can’t put an exact timeline on his recovery [but] we expect him to reintegrate [by late 2017] #watfordfc

Mendy off to Barcelona to see Dr Ramon Cugat for tests to determine whether he's badly damaged knee ligaments #mcfc https://t.co/vNgnmhW4qu

Does this bring Danilo back into the mix

    Danilo 97% towards being 5.4.....

Danilo if he is going to 5.4 obviously could be a huge asset at FB in this City team. The only thing I'd say though is that Guardiola could well rejig again. Think Delph played at LB tonight. Fernandinho did the LB role many times last year. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see 3 CBs again soon, with Sane as LWB and Walker RWB. It's just never black and white with Pep!

On Mendy, from a purely football perspective, it's really disappointing he has such a bad injury. I was really looking forward to watching him this season. He is so aggressive in an attacking sense. When you have a lad like that surrounded by those City attackers, it had the makings of great viewing. Real pity.

Hemed 3 match ban. Looks like I'll need a -4 this week.

Looked as if he would, C-Lewin or Okazaki options?

Ye or niasse. Depends on Europa lge. I believe niasse isn't registered for that.

    I can confirm he isn't

Do you think he will start Sunday. Its more than likely a 1 week punt as I'll probably wildcard over int break.

    Yeh I do mate.

With not being in the Squad and basically winning us the game last week I think Koeman has to play him. Likely bench Calvert Lewin. I would think!

Also- Keane and Jags doubtful for Burnley on Sunday. Martina is 4.3m if anyone is looking at WC'ing for a cheap def.

I warned everyone not to get Jones
I wanted everyone he WOULD break
I then ignored my own advice

    2 games later

Mourinho on injuries "I think Carrick has no chance. Jones I have many doubts. & Fellaini I have a hope." https://t.co/Ucg9SJXVmo

I had a feeling Jones would miss this one and then the internationals. Did mkhi go off injured. I could be wildcarding this week at this stage.

@WHUFCFZ: Pedro Obiang and Edimilson Fernandes are having fitness tests ahead of Saturday's game against Swansea. (via @ExWHUemployee)

Could end up with naughton obiang and Carroll in that game
How did it come to this :(

Martial asked to be subbed apparently (From what I'm seeing on twitter) possibly tweaked his hamstring.

Nothing concrete yet from what I can see though.

Can't find anything about Mkhi being a doubt?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,205 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

Watching the United game you could see one of the staff showing Mhki & Martial down the tunnel.

I'd imagine the cold weather played a part in that probably best to get them in out of cold.

Cska players all had blankets over them on bench and they'd be used to the weather.

Mourinho said nothing about any injuries to them from what I've read either.

Sorry for being a dope....but is Jones def injured?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 650 ✭✭✭PVA

Mkhitaryan went off injured in the 60th minute, fairly soon after his goal. Hopefully just a precaution!

Mourinho didn't mention him in his post-match presser, although he did specify Jones, Carrick and Fellaini are all unlikely to play this weekend.

‘Carrick has no chance,’ Mourinho told BT Sport. ‘I think Jones I have many doubts and Fellaini I have a hope, just a hope.’

Could be time for Lindelof to step in. Imagine a 5m United/Mourinho defender that can do this....

He has been a fantastic servant with this 35pts in 6 games. For 5m, it was always worth risking him.

It certainly was, and I think it's worth keeping him too, as he'll have three weeks to get fit again.
