First of all, I am sorry if it's wrong category to ask this question but I couldn't find better related one.

Anyways, I want to send a postcard to my friend at USA and I checked post office's website and because the cost is 1.35 Eur, I just bought 2 stamps (I didn't know there is price increase for the stamps). Then I read here that there is actually N and W stamps . Which N means for national post and W for worldwide.

So, can I put 2 N stamps on my postcard (will be 2 Eur value) and drop it to a postbox for collection, or do I exactly need to have W stamp?

    Thanks!

You can just use two of the national stamps instead of one worldwide stamp. I do it all the time if I don't have any international ones, as long as you paid the correct amount (or more) they won't care.
