Liverpool vs Middlesboro

Do or die time now for Liverpool. They haven't won any of the last 3 at home (Bournemouth, Palace, Southampton) but need a win today to be sure of top 4. A win by 3 or more and City dropping points will be enough for 3rd, but could finish 5th as well if they don't win.

Firmino should be fit to start, but will Klopp revert to previous systems or stick with the diamond formation with 2 up front that gave a 4-0 win last weekend? Sturridge should start I'd say, with Firmino in for Origi if he does start, but we;ll see in 30 mins.

Big performance would be great today, but a dodgy win will do either as long as it is a home win. Boro will want to get a big result in their last PL game, and get their 2nd away win of the season before going back to the Championship.

Crowds lining the road as far as I can see for the bus coming in. Flares on the go and all

Crowd seem well up for this. The noise should at least be good

Brad Guzan is worth at least a goal or two to the opposition. So can't see past an easy Liverpool win unfortunately. 4-0 Liverpool

Just win. I don't care how, though a Lucas thunderbolt which comes off the cross bar and bounces off the back of the keepers head and in would do just fine.

Troy Deeney hat-trick to hold City 3-3, Liverpool to win 3-0.
    3rd place play-off.

90% sure we'll win but the smell of banana skin is hard to ignore :(

Delighted with the line-up. Let's do the job now. High tempo and at them from the very start please Reds!

A party atmosphere would ideally be what happens, that we go 3 up within 20 mins and game ends up 7-0.

A 2 goal lead in the first 10 mins would be great. Been a while though since we've done something like that.

Have decided that I'm going to the Woolshed. Last time I was there Liverpool battered Spurs, so you can all thank me when we win.

Origi isn't bad tbf ....due a goal too. If he comes on and we need a goal I'd not be surprised to see him shake the onion bag :)

Bit odd having two full backs on the bench unless Moreno is there to be unleashed as a winger in an emergency.

Souness is spot on about the stretches there. I was thinking the exact same thing looking at it.

Yep, dunno if he was afraid to hurt himself, or it sums up his attitude.

I was laughing at the difference between Sturridge barely rising his legs, and Can trying to kick himself in the face.

Sky trying to hype it up that Liverpool would be shocked at Arsenal scoring. They know have to win. Simple. Only 8 minutes in.
