How did the Carbonal wheels fare out of interest - still OK?
perfect. Still have them. I havent even serviced the hubs yet but LBS said the bearings are easy service or change.

Mine three. Started using them Aug 2017. Don't use them winters but do use them Mar thru Oct. Did get the bearings in one of the wheels replaced (rear I think).

    Hi All,
After years of looking eventually took the plunge.

Went with Elite Pro 50mm x 25mm tubeless ready but running with tubes.
Good reviews on aliexpress (pinch of salt taken).
I Must say love the roll on them.
Pillar spokes and generic hubs (bearings can be replaced easy as common sizes).
Cost 340 euro plus 50 customs.
Running with veloflex corsa 25mm tyres, very minimal transition.

Ran them for about 100 miles so far but wouldn't hesitate going again for a rear 88mm for TT bike.

    Regards
    John

Hi John, well wear, don't mind me asking but did they ship by tracked courier and how long did they take?
    Thanks.

    Yes tracked.
took a bit of time due to COVID19.
Elite make them to order once payment approved.
they don't hold stock to pull off shelf.

    order 14/08/2020
    delivered 01/10/2020

    so 2 weeks build
    and 4 weeks for shipment
