right so i recently just passed my D licence driving test and I need to get a medical done, I paid 60 squid for the last one when I got my learner permit the end of last year, which I was told the medical lasts for 6 months which I'm still within that 6 months, I told the NDLS this an they said nope you need a new medical done  50-60 squid for some jackass to sign off on is a joke.

so anyone know anywhere in Dublin that does medicals cheaper than that? down the country is priced at 20-30 squid. don't really wanna travel down there just to get that done.
so if any of ya know where in Dublin that I can get it done for in around 20-40 squid can you send us on the info?

    thanks in advance,much appreciated

I know a place, but because you used the word "squid" so many times, I've decided that I'm not going to help you.

Why are you using sea animals as currency? Try Euro instead. Less smelly.

    really?? how childish is that

More childish than using' squid' for €?

Even as an childish euphemism for Quid, it refers to Pounds Sterling.

    Yoyo will suffice for Euro.

    1. You're applying for a licence to drive a bus? Surely that's important enough for the medical to be more than a quick look over. Pay the money, get it done properly.

    2. Never post in After Hours looking for serious responses. You tend to not get them.

    3. Thanks other posters. I needed the laugh.

You want the GP, after a long day treating patients, life and death desicions, to sit down with the pile of application forms:
    Carers Allowance
    Carers Benefit
    disability allowance
    Invalidity pension
    Medical cards
    Long term illness cards
    Over 70 s driving licences
    Insurance claim reports
And priorities yours even though it's not in his remit to help you get a job, go carefully through your report, check your notes, do the best job he can do. Sign it. Stamp it. Stand over it. All for €20.
    I see.

in the professional area is different to here because I'm not bound by contract here, there I am and I have to be polite an customer service like when on duty.
big difference to private life an on this site an you get childish little gobshi*es acting the fool instead of either giving advise or not.

Be sure and tell your GP what you think of him.
It's highly unlikely your kids are ever going to need a doctor.

an no my kids are well looked after an if they need to go to a doctor I always check what he's attempting to give them an find out exactly what's in it an what it does to the body. if its bad well he gonna have to answer to me why he trying to kill my kids with that poison

Have you tried asking a vet to do it? They'd probably save you a few squid. And also save you some cash by charging you less than a people doctor.
