I can't get comfortable. Moved into a new house and I think I'll have to re-arrange the TV/Sofa arrangement. Also leatherette sofa. TA'd.

Very TA'd with the teenager. Her little sister asked her to take a spider out of her bedroom so she made a show of getting a glass to catch it in but splattered it on the wall. Pretended to put it out the window and said the black marks on the wall must be spider poo. I don't care how much you don't like spiders, you don't kill them :(

TA that there's nowhere to go for a cup of coffee and a peaceful sit-down in the evenings. I'd love up go for a coffee now and have a mull over life but there's nowhere.

I'm being stalked by an advertisement for women's soft flat Swede shoes as sold by Bang Good for $22.69. I'm not a woman and I'm not in the market for Swede shoes.

    Go away!!!

TA'd that I can't thank this twice , as I've often thought the same thing .

Great coffee shop in town here that closes at half five , but have heard lots of people looking for a good place that stays open in the evenings , we're all missing out :(

I'd even be happy if somewhere tried it out for a month or 2 and if it didn't work out, fine.

Even a couple of nights a week would be a good place to start!

Whenever there is a unexpected knock at the door the OH looks at me and asks who it is. A motorbike pulled up across the road earlier and he asked me who it was. Do I look psychic?

I survived an assassination attempt today....
Driving along minding my own business when an assassin wasp flew in my window and tried to take me out. I survived, but so did he... he's still out there. Somewhere. With an unfulfilled contract.
    Be careful people.

My TA is something I think a lot of you will "get".
People who do the "oh we must catch up" BS when they meet you out randomly somewhere but then you never hear from them again.

For example, I bumped into someone a few months ago. I had originally stopped hanging out with this person for a reason which has now changed. So when we bumped into each other she was all talk about we must meet up, give me your number etc. I texted her about a week later, asked her did she want to go to this new coffee shop that had opened, her kind of place, and she never replied. Grand I thought to myself, at least I tried.
So I bumped into this same person today and again, all we must meet up blah blah blah. So I said to her sure you never replied to me back in April, she says oh my phone broke, blah blah blah. Why not just be honest?! I really don't care whether we meet up or not but I care about being fucking lied to and fed BS.

Getting a text from a work colleague on a Sunday night telling me they are going to be out sick for the week - what's going to be a very busy week. Could you not have waited until Monday morning to let me know and let me enjoy the rest of what's left of the weekend in peace.

TA Very wired tonight. Ran from a spider on the floor beside my bed! Must be the full moon. Or my Brazillian friend's stories about their dinner plate sized arachnids.

Couldn't sleep at all and my arms are killing me, like an old break aches. Never broke either arm though. Never hurt 'em at all. I think it's time to reincarnate as someone else.
Sorry TMI but you know when you feel the threat of 'being sick' but it's staying at threat level until you wish it would hurry up so you could feel better. I know some people have a phobia of people being sick so apologies if that's,eh, triggering for anyone.

TA that people had to actually be told not to shoot at a hurricane. Also by people who wouldn't leave the area till it was safe to return.

You know, I have often scoffed at the idea of people who won't leave their homes when a weather event like a hurricane comes along but, to be honest, I don't know what I would do. Maybe I would leave, maybe I wouldn't, I really don't know.
