Whenever I see Damien Duff on TV doing his punditry I wait for the phrase

    "TO BE FAIR"

Damien is guaranteed to use this phrase in every show

Apologies to Damien if you're reading but Nonsense Phrases drive me to distraction!!!!

If you eat too much and get in behind the wheel of a car, then you’re a danger on the road because you are likely to fall asleep after eating a big meal.

What you're posting aren't nonsense phrases… they're insults. Your wife is a slapper though but she does make a decent breakfast.

Yea, no, like at the end of the day to be literally fair, in all honesty going forward the are all just ecumenical matters.

Cant stand the phrase when people talk about big life events "If it is meant to be, its meant to be". Nah, you gotta go out there and make things happen yourself, not hope they just fall into your lap.

It's OK not to be OK.

    Utter nonsense.

So it's OK to be suicidal?. Hmmmm. Personally would think someone should do something about it.

These nonsense phrases get no scrutiny.

    Another nonsense is

Children are the future. No they aren't. By the time the future comes around they ain't children no more!.

I think you've misunderstood that campaign. It's supposed to mean that it's normal for some people to feel depressed.

Ehh, no, its not, you will never do anything longer than live your life.

    "YOLO"
This has to be one of the cringiest phrases ever. There was even wristbands dedicated to it.
At least it is not popular now.

I know. Its too soft ambigious and obvious, define ok? A very depressed person might think hes ok. Its a silly phrase

Its OK to get counselling be better. Promotes solutions and more direct.

It's a UK phrase, an old-fashioned one. Did he ever play in the UK?
