I've used the Topaz, Lidl and Boots rewards so far on credit card and debit card. Received notification email quick enough and refunds came through quick enough too. Pretty happy with it considering I didn't have to do an awful lot to get money back. Offers could be better, but happy with the money I've gotten back so far.

Question: does the apache pizza deal work on the app or just the website?? I was gonna use it the other day but the website was painfully slow on iPad... the app is decent though. thanks a mill

After getting lidl, topaz and boots ones, I haven't bothered with it since. Every email I get shows quite crap offers overall. I wonder will the scheme become forgotten about unless there's juicy stuff more frequently

Anybody know how many times LIDL cashback offer will reappear if I don't use it by the date shown?

It seems to appear every 3/4 weeks recently

Logged into see if anything good has come up, lots of online shopping offers for warehouse and Debenhams. But embarrassed by the 1% for likes of Wallis! Even if you spend €100, surely the admin overhead to process your euro reward is beyond ridiculous

Yeah, the quality has certainly degraded from the early days of Topaz, Lidl, Boots etc.

I received notification this morning that my Easons cashback is being processed. This was for an easonschoolbooks.com order from 12th June. I had forgotten about it really, or had assumed that the offer wasn't valid for the schoolbooks site

I also received the easons one totally forgot about it I'm now waiting on the schuh one that will probably take another two months to come through

The dampest of squibs.... the Lidl and topaz were the only ones I used and I'm in between blacklisting the email address so it goes to trash or cancelling my subscription. Totally agree with another comment on a 1% discount, laughable..... With most of the laughing on AIB and those companies side, that they can claim us as subscribers to the sham.

It's just a sad joke at this stage. The weekly email isn't even worth looking at

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,599 ✭✭✭FAILSAFE 00

Even opening the email isn't worth it at this stage. I thought it is meant to benefit customers. Seems likes its more beneficial to the businesses.

I just delete the email at this point, complete waste of time, you have to log in to see all the 'offers' and it's really not worth the effort.

    I totally agree...

Ignore the email, it doesn't show the deals adequately. Yes, there are some useless deals, with a couple of 1% - 3% offers, but there are still factional decent ones, like Nike 10%, so the site is worth an occasional look.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 229 ✭✭penelope2012

Have to agree initial offers were good Topaz, Lidl and Boots. The others are just the same as any of those money back sites e.g Topaz, REHAB, 1% or 2% is useless you would save more than that by shopping around. Mind you today's email said I have saved over €20 but I have a feeling the big offers were just to get you sucked in.

I spent €300+ with Nike.com a few weeks ago when it was 1% and I never received cash back. Same with last week, spent €100+ when 10% and never got it.

Waste of time, no more decent offers. I use my Tesco Credit Card as I get points which turns into vouchers which you double for Bord Gais energy bills. More use there than 1% here or there. I'll keep using my CC over the Debit Card.

Same here. Tesco credit card for everything. €5 vouchers turn into €15 tesco mobile credit which gives me 10gb 3g data and unlimited calls and texts for 30days and get to keep the credit.
Interest rate is quite high though, so always cleared in full to avoid

I wouldn't say never look at the emails, my last email from AIB has the offer 15% off Elvery Sports! Nothing wrong with that. I had thought all good offers would be over.

Can the Tesco Credit card be used to tap to pay at tills?

Yeah the tesco credit card used to be great, but I noticed I am not getting the same number of points for my non tesco purchases, used to be 1 point for every €2 now you have to spend €8 to get 1 point

Didn't know tesco credit card exist.
Is it worth looking at now?
