Any recommendations on solar panel installers in the area

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,759 ✭✭✭pawrick

I used this crowd www.blackwellenergy.ie , not based locally but cover all over, they came to me via flogas recomendation. Had a 7.92 kWh system installed inbtween them fitting panels on a school somewhere nearby. very clean job and at the time in October their prices were fair. Total price for jinko/solas set up 18 panel, hybrid inverter (get hybrid if you want a battery) and bits and pieces incl ber cert €9,900 excl grant.

If you need any other detail let me know as I was pricing different options with them at the time, they were very approachable and easy to deal with.

Any thoughts on why Monksland is ignored so much by the TDs. Not 1 with a constituency office here despite being a major population centre in the constituency. Daly just opened 2 offices in Roscommon and Ballinasloe

Any recommendations who can replace an oil tank in Athlone supplied and fitted? Currently have a 1000+ liter tank, need to replace it with a 650L slimmer one

here is no obligation on a TD to open a constituency office. It is geographically in Roscommon but in reality is a suburb of Athlone.

Does anyone know any local places I can order fresh roll out turf sod at a decent price in midlands?

I heard that the old an post sorting office in Coosan has been sold. Does anyone have any idea what's going in there. With the population explosion around Coosan it would be a savage spot for a Lidl or Aldi.

Thoughts on The glen Coosan area to buy a house. Is it an ok neighbourhood, mostly owners or renters? Recommended housing states in Coosan?

Live nearby. Dont know about the glen specifically, but the wider area is fantastic.

It sold about 3 years ago and is currently being used in connection with supply chain logistics for a government department.

Wrt monksland, it's the main source of development levies and rates for Roscommon and Roscommon definition of investment in the area is to build new roads, sewage treatment and water infrastructure. Basically stuff to keep the gravy train running. They poured a million into the pitches in cushla as a compensation... But that's for exclusive use of St Joe's and monksland utd.

We are finally getting a small park in the retail/warehouse area.

It thought that alright, but I thought it was recently sold on again.

Can anyone recommend a good wall builder in the Athlone area? We had someone booked who let us down at the final moment.

Railway field road project finally going to planning stage.

How will it exactly look does anyone know?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,751 ✭✭✭veryangryman

    Boxer.

Is this lad just getting an easy ride? Ive yet to see him take an interview with the national media on any issue. He's just taken the job on OPW with literally zero mention of what theyre gonna do to stop the absolute plundering of public money on bike sheds and the likes.

Yeah he plants a few flowers and shrubs and is seen cleaning up a bit around town. All very noble, but I do have to ask if he's doing the job he's being paid for or whether he should instead do a council job (not to be confused with councillor).

I'll give him credit for the last time out, a lot of flood defense got built under his watch, not only in Athlone but along the Suir in the south east which is particularly plagued with flooding. More hotspots have crept up since but I'll give him his dues.

    This too shall pass.

In fairness to boxer, behind the planting flowers, I'd have some faith he'll weed out a bit of that madness. Boxer will prioritize practical stuff over what "experts" will want. A lot of places would have decent flood defenses if he has stayed in

Anyone noticing low water pressure around Baylough or Monksland?

There was a burst water main yesterday but according to Irish Water it's been fixed and should be fine now.
