Is there a UPS for Broadband Modem.

    Is there a domestic Uninterrupted Power Supply that will keep the telephone and broadband modem working during a power cut ensuring that the House alarm continues to be monitored.

    If there was a power outage it'd be likely that the power would be out at the node as well. Assume you're talking UPC

    There's a nice one that APC have it's like a combined 5 gang socket and ups in one, Amazon had them

    Who's the broadband with ?
    Virgin will fail if the power goes in the area.
    WiMAX
    Sky
    Eir
    Vodafone
    will continue to work if the modem has a supply
