    you probably could with a smart socket.

    On our Tommee Tippee steriliser when you pressed the on button (when not plugged in), it would 'remember', and the next time it was plugged in/energised, it would run it's sterilising routine.

    So you could time it to happen when you wanted, or trigger it on the fly via the app

    We have a microwave steriliser so can't automate that :-( I have a few kasa plugs using them for lamps and TV speakers
