Hi everyone, our water supply was switched last week from the grauge supply which comes off Slievenamon to a well near there. It is very hard water and we will have to spend money on installing a water softening system in the coming weeks. Got no notice or information about the switch until we noticed the taste difference in the water. Is anyone else in the same boat ?

Just saw this now, yes everyone in the area is suffering the same.
There's a new reservoir over clooneen and a well near Killurney, are these the culprits?
Looks like softeners all round at a cost of course, 600 plus maybe.
