    What's the starting salary for new enter into a college of further ed? So many different pay scales on the Internet, will it make a difference if you have a masters as well as the hdip ?

    Also is it possible to come in higher on the scale from industry experience, as opposed to teaching experience

    Big question. ! There s very few full times start on a salary jobs. If you got a job in for example a vtos programme you d get a teachers salary. Current scale is not great. Best of luck

    Do you know if work experience in what you are teaching as well as qualifications in it would bump you up the scale?
