    Hi

I'm looking for information on Ballymahon, Longford for a relative looking to relocate to Longford for various reasons including financial. What are good areas to live in and which should be avoided?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm a native of Ballymahon and was down at the weekend. I'm not sure there are any really bad areas within the town, though it does have it's share of council housing (if that's an issue for you) in St. Matthews Terrace. Apart from that I cannot think of one area trumping another in terms of attractiveness - it's all very much the same.
