Hmmm... So far it's a disaster. A total unecessary -4 (because of FHFC keeping the good info for himself :p :pac:). De Roon denied a top corner goal before getting injured while Siggy is delivering the pts for the first time in ages. Captain Negredo going for a Lukaku DGW37 15/16 replica. It's all going well to feck up my season again.

But. DGWs are long, Especially this one, up to Thursday. So wait and see... And hope!
There was nothing to hope for unfortunately. 43 (-4) with Valencia & Aguero to go. Back up to 53k. Not sure what's left to be gained or lost tomorrow...

But without an incredible run of misfortune, I should still be in a position where I can still bother for the remaining GWs. In itself, it's a bit of a success :D.

So. I did everything wrong but got my cheap enabler fantastically right. De Roon a true mythological hero. Denied a wonder goal in his first game before getting injured early and subbed. Watched Siggy getting a better than expected result for my squad on the bench. The guy fought his injury to be back fit tonight and like the phenix he rose as the (desperately needed) hero of my team. He alone has saved my GW from total chaos.
"Oh Marten De Roon, he's class, he's mint, he's cool, big ****ing Marten De Roon" :D.

Costa had 2 goals in 10 league games before last night and had failed to get any double-digit hauls at Stamford Bridge all season. For a 10m+ player that is poor form and those who shipped him ahead of the Southampton game were justified in doing so in my view.
Just to finish on this. And hopefully be finally clearly understood. Maybe my mind is still too French despite all these years chatting in English :pac:.

I did not say otherwise. I just said that had I owned him, I'm not sure I'd have taken the -4 (that could very well turn into a -8 considering Chelsea DGW37 - I have no WC left) for either Negredo or Benteke.
And originally, I wrote my comment, as a reminder for DGW37, that a premium player with a decent single fixture can be better than a DGW punt (an average DGW player I think I said). We see that every season. And of course we can't guess who's gonna shine and who's gonna fail. But there are educated guesses for both double and single GW players in a DGW when you are unlikely to be able to get XI DGWers, which is my case for 37 and the case of many without a WC I'd suppose.

And I never talked about double figure expectations. For Costa or for anyone else. You know, Costa with just an assist would have outscored my own DGW punt (Negredo).
For the sake of the example, let's just say I did own Costa, kept him and he got a big fat 2 pointer the other night. I have no WC left. So -4 to ditch him. And -4 to ditch his replacement for GW36 or 37. With regards to Benteke, that's 4 pts lost. Though next GW (which is a good fixture) should be taken into account. So this -4 is a temporary figure so far. With regards to Negredo, that'd be 6 pts better.
Then, there's the captaincy. I had no clear idea. I was not rating Benteke enough. When in doubt, I generally go with the FFS poll. So Negredo. I think I'd have gotten him in whatever team I'd have owned. So even in my example, if not for Costa, for my 3rd attacker... Which is what I actually did in reality, replace Costa by Lukaku that I kept and did not go for Benteke thinking the former would fare better and the latter not as good. Got it wrong. C'est la vie. C'est comme ça ;).

67 with DDG (C) and Valencia to come, hopefully he doesn't play and I get Bavies 9 off the bench.

Finally broke the top 100, sitting at 85 overnight!

Back into the top 10k with Aguero and Valencia to play.
Obviously with DeRoon and Ben Davies 1 and 2 on the bench I wouldn't mind if either had to take a rest.

Fantastic bit what persuaded you to make a goalie the captain? Apologies if you've already dealt with this.
I see the leader of the boards league is at 28.

46 with De Gea and Aguero left.

Poor captain choice returns poor outcome.

Was Valencia at that Lowry Hotel? Need him to play as rivals have stacks of points off the bench!!

When things are going right for you, they go right for you.
Eriksen and Bavies sharing the 3bps is beautiful stuff.

85 with DDG and Bailly to go. Up to 34k,which is a season high since 74th in week 2.

I wanted a DGW player so thought Chambers and De Roon out, PVA not likely to start both games and no CS, didn't trust Benteke against two top 6 teams. So that left Valencia or DDG, figured a good chance of a CS against Burnley and that Mourinho could close up shop tonite away to City.
Figured he was a safe 8 points

I would normally be in the never captain a defender much less a goalie with no BPS camp.

59 (-4) and a small green arrow. Just Valencia left to play, who is very unlikely to outscore Davies' 9 points on my bench. Oh well!

65 with Aguero to play and that's with a Lukaku captain fail too so pretty happy with that.

13740th overall and just outside the top 1000 in Ireland

35 with sane & aguero left.

Poor week to put it mildly!

    36 (-4's
My GW rests on Valencia not featuring and AGUEROOOOOOOOOOOOO (who is a big differential with my ML's and Head to Head)

Usually one day goes right for me over a GW, no Valencia feature and Aguero goes nuts

Man Utd XI: De Gea, Valencia, Blind, Bailly, Darmian, Carrick, Herrera, Fellaini, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Rashford #MUFC @MirrorFootball

Darmian was the united defender to get for rest of season it seems

Better it happens now than after we brought him in I suppose.

Will consider him as a DGW punt as it would mean no bother getting Haz in with Sanchez.

I wonder if Jesus will play out wide or behind Aguero? I don't see Aguero being dropped
