Son benching is dissapointing but not surprising.
He scored off the bench last time though so hopefully the same happens again.

Can't believe PVA didn't start either game. Thought for sure he was playing one of them

Unlikely he'll stay there if benteke gets a couple which is a pity

Looks like Koscielny and Cech may be the only worthwhile options for 36 and 37 to go with Sanchez. Ozil too expensive and nobody else nailed on.

That lineup still looks good for Gabriel surely?

Most disappointed at Giroud being benched. Very much had hoped for him....

Sanchez up top from the start.

If they stay 3 at the back yeah, but if they revert to type then Koscielny and Mustafi are going to be the chief candidates if Mustafi has returned.

I must be the only one here with Clayton. That assist has really cheered me up. :)

Gibson according to SSN for assist

    Clayton assist awarded

Kept him as 2nd sub despite playing twice he's that useless

De Roon first sub of course, didn't fancy him ahead of any of my single gwk mids.

    SSN aren't reliable for assists.

Yeah but the 3 at the back looks pretty nailed at this stage. He's rotated and fitted the personnel to that system.

I fancy Townsend to do well against his old club. Backed him for anytime goal scorer and for motm.

Yeah it's funny how often it happens
Only just remembered that Bertrand did it last night too

It's not going to be a permanent solution though is it? After this many years. That's not to say I can pinpoint this week, next week or the one after as when Wenger goes back to the system he has been playing for 20 years, but I'd be shocked if this is the new Arsenal of the future.
