So I'm coming totally unprepared for this but am somehow ending with 5 DGWers.

3 transfers done for -4 and I now realised it involved 4 Middlesbrough players :pac:. Lanzini + Barnes + Chambers -> Negredo + De Roon + Gibson.
    Negredo for captaincy.
De Roon to switch back to 3-4-3.
Gibson after seeing this at 11:28.

    Heaton
    Alonso Valencia Gibson
Sanchez Alli Zaha (VC) De Roon
    Aguero Negredo (C) Lukaku
    Randolph ; Sigurdsson, Holebas, McAuley

That article is wrong. Chambers is available and widely expected to play.

    Considering using BB this week:

    Pickford - MID A
    Heaton - MUN H

    Alonso - SOU H
    Mawson STO H
    Valencia - BUR A + MCI A
    A.Smith - MID H
    Brunt - BLANK -> Bailly/PVA/Gibson

    Townsend - LIV A + TOT H
    Zaha - LIV A + TOT H
    Alli - PAL A
    King - MID H
    Sigurdsson - STO H

    Aguero - MUN A
    Lukaku - WHU A
    Anichebe - MID A -> Rashford/Negredo/Benteke

Have 2FT, so bench after the changes above would be Pickford, Smith, Mawson, King. Not an overly inspiring list of names, but they have good fixtures.

I still have TC and WC available. Plan is to wildcard in GW36, which leaves GW37 for TC, so kind of using up BB this week as much as anything.

    That's a decent BB.

This week is gonna hurt. I can feel it.

    Pickford.
    Bailly, Alonso, Bavies.
    Zaha, Hazard, Alli, DeRoon.
    Lukaku, Aguero, Benteke(c).

    Grant, Siggy, Pieters, Amatlol,

Siggy sgw could probably outscore De Roon dgw but will leave it as dgw is fun.

It's a pity you did not post this link before :(.

Ah well, made a 11:28 "panic" move as I did not realise the deadline was 2 pm. Tells a lot 'bout my late waning interest in the game... Since I'm turning into a casual and the game rules have changed to benefit them, I should ask the FPL board to add a "cancel transfer" option up to the GW deadline and/or to the price change daily deadline :p.

Let's now hope Gibson outscore Chambers by 4 pts at least (8 would be better).

Swansea will make a late decision on top scorer Fernando Llorente, who has been troubled by ankle and leg injuries in recent weeks. #Swans
The gift that keeps on giving
It now makes brunt to Pva for a hit more likely
I'd only have yoshida on the bench if llorente missed out
And there will be rotation midweek for some of the single gameweek teams

    Tough tough call now

Currently deliberating between benching Aguero, Son or Coutinho.

I just couldn't resist in the end
    Stupid 2pm deadline :D

Anyone else very nervous about who they're having to bench this week?

Yup, I'm certain to make the wrong choice here, currently benching Son

I took the very uncomfortable decision of selling Son. Sure to bite me in the ass.

One of the reasons i didn't get a Utd def for a hit. Benching Alonso for Bailly-4 seemed unwise.

Benching Davies but happy enough with that.

A little... currently Sanchez is occupying it.

    -4

    De Gea
    Maguire PVA Alonso
    Sanchez Clayton Alli Zaha
    Kane Benteke (c) Lukaku

    Randolph - Tadic Holgate Yoshida

Sold my sole survivor from GW1, Sir Tom Heaton. Sad day for the parish.

Davies and Robertson are the 2 I'm not overly happy with benching. Considered starting Davies as an insurance policy to my 2 Palace attackers but f*ck that, Alonso is money.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,681 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Butland starts. As does Adrian.

    Fúck that.

Should've done Hennessey/DDG in for one of them instead of PVA in and just played Mee. But I assumed I'd have at least one of Randolph/Grant starting.

    10 players for me!

Chambers to repay my faith for holding him since way back... :)

I seen that coming so once Hughes said butland may start i took the hit for de gea.......I could have a problem in 37 though now as De gea could well be Europa keeper and Romero league if things go pear shaped this week for united
Even 35 could be a problem

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,822 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

    De Gea
    Valencia-Chambers-Pieters
    Alli-Eriksen-Zaha-King
    Kane-Lukaku-Rashford(C)

    Heaton-Sane-Holgate-Stephens

Took a hit to get De Gea/Rashford in for Foster/Aguero. Tough call between Pieters and Holgate was only really decision this week

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭spock.

Stanislas back to the bench as expected.
