Yes she was very good. I liked the boy comedian at the start as well.

    The sob story's annoy me

  • Jesus a lot of unnecessary standing ovations

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,554 ✭✭✭CH3OH

The 15 year old certainly deserved her standing ovation- powerhouse of a voice

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,286 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Anyone singing on it bores me to tears.

You want to sing, go on X-Factor, I watch this to see something more original and unique.

Few decent acts tonight. Can't believe doga is a real thing. People are nuts.

Great show tongiht! They seem to have tightened up quite a bit as regards production. We didn't have to suffer the bad acts in full.
Loved young Ned at the start. Amazing for an eight-year old! The two mind-readers showed an extraordinary gift. Enjoyed the 15-year old singer, who got the gold button, but did think her performance was drawn out longer than necessary. "Yoga" was one of the worst performances i've seen in a long time. Obviously it was there as a "joke act", seeing as all of the judges and Ant & Dec had brought in their own dogs. The icing on the cake was when the large dog pee'd onto David W's shoes. Overall - very enjoyable show!

The kids dad is a comedy writer for BBC, on the show.... Not going out, he wrote the jokes for his kid.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,677 ✭✭✭Eyepatch

It's obvious an adult wrote the jokes for the kid, but for an eight-year old child, his delivery and timing were amazing.

    Hate dancing and singing children.

I love the fact that these young ones have great belief and confidence in what they are doing , lovely to see.

Another very enjoyable show tonight! I was delighted the "danger" act got the thumbs down. The little female magician was brilliant - and so charming. Loved the Chinese acrobat/dancers. The little one with the scholiosis did great. Also very talented and brave was the sixteen-year old singer who wrote his own song and accompnied himself on the piano. The final act with Ant and Dec was a scream. They must have put in some time rehearsing that.

Enjoyed the kids choir but thought Amanda Holden was a bit condescending.

"Imagine the excitement in their little village"

Now if they are from a little village in Co. Down and she knew that fair enough.

The female magician was brilliant. My fave!

    Also the young pianist.

The whole thing with the nervous woman Simon stopped singing and made do another song looked so staged, I just couldn't enjoy it.

Angara contortion were out of this world.

    So strong and so bendy.

Another very entertaining episode! Loved the young boy who sang the song re his Granny's state of dementia.

Loved him ! Brilliant entertainer , delighted Ant and Dec pressed the Golden Buzzer , would watch him again !

I needed to post after watching that this evening.

That Matt Edwards magician segment at the end was one of the best made few minutes of television you'll see.

The act itself was great, but the way they built up Ant and Dec's golden button push was an artform perfected. From constant cuts to Ant and Dec through the judges comments, to the background music (Coldplay's 'Fix You', no matter what you think of it, is perfect for a build-up of tension), to Cowell's speech, to Walliams' eyes moving to Ant and Dec just as they come out, to Edwards' slow realisation as they pass him what is actually happening, to the 15 seconds it takes Ant and Dec to get to the buzzer, to the push itself, to Edwards' drop to his knees, to Ant and Dec's heartfelt explanation on stage.

It was probably mostly choreographed, but as I say, purely as a piece of reality TV, it's as perfect as you'll get.

Seemed like there were more red X buzzers pressed by the judges on this episode than on any previous ones. Just about three good acts. I liked Jamie singing, the girls' choir and the final crazy magician.

I watched a second time just to see him. :D
Not the whole thing, but his act. Loved it.

Leah from Meath was outstanding, did Ireland proud.

I do like a good opera singer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,761 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

That was the most amazing magician act ever.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,516 ✭✭✭Wheety

Was great. I've seen the blade swallowing before but to have them come back out on string and then the balloon at the end

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,340 ✭✭✭deco nate

Well we have just been shown the wild card act, pound to a penny he will be brought back to the live show

Love Britain's Got More Talent. Stephen Mulhern is very funny on it. Very self deprecating.

Can't bring myself to watch Britain's Got More Talent, much as I might like Stephen Mulhearn. Same with all of these other spin-off shows too! The main show usually is enough for me.

The most memorable act, for me this week, was the magician. Amazing!

While the Irish singer performed well, I don't think she'll go very far in BGT. Her singing was good, but pretty "run of the mill", far as I'm concerned. Apologies, if I sound a bit negative, and wishing her and her family all the best..

Good question! I'm presuming they will appear in the semis.

Did the two Cork lads make it through? I found them very funny!

Anyone else sick of all the dance acts? Well except for the two irish lads of course.

Same I find all those dance groups very samey, even the comments are all samey. Great energy... really well put together... blah blah blah.

Was just thinking the same. Even the Irish lads, with all due respect, were not great.

The Irish lads while technically not great, their comedic timing and facial expressions were brilliant and they showed more personality and all or those other dance groups together.

I'd rather watch that, than perfectly sequence mob dancing. It was much more entertaining.

Honestly I didn't get them at all. Was thinking the whole time, what is this meant to be

Overall it's a bit disappointing, there's very few stand out acts that I can remember from the auditions. The magician was my favourite, Matt Edwards (Ant & Dec's golden buzzer act)

Those two Irish lads have a very Stavros Flatley vibe to them and look how well they did.

Can't say I agree 100% with this. I always roll around laughing at Stavros Flatley, even to this day. Those two Irish lads, IMO, are fairly forgettable.
