Dat tax! Future classic right there

A bit strong money wise but still that'd be a nice buy if you were after an Omega

Loved Omegas back in the day. Didn't age that well, though.

Was it the last one of Opel's RWD line up?

Think the Speedster was around after the Omega, there was the Vauxhall (Holden really) VXR8 as well, don't know if there was an Opel version.

Where do Donedeal get there specs from. I was looking at the 0-60 time on Donedeal and seen 11 seconds and said to myself that is pretty poor for a 2.5 but I looked it up and actual time is 8.2 seconds which isn't too bad.

Sure your not getting mixed up with the V6 ? Parkers gives 11 second for the diesel and 8.2 for the 2.5 petrol manual.

Your right I thought it was petrol.

It could be as slow as 12s.

There were two variants of this engine - 131bhp (1994-2001) and 151bhp (2001-2003).

I doubt any of those engines could accelerate a 1.6t vehicle from 0-100 in 8.2s.

It's probably the leftover glue where the obligatory Padre Pio plaque used to be.

Going to see an 06 Avensis tomorrow, NCTd til December, Taxed til August. 107k miles... Any advice from someone who might have owned one of these before, or knows their stuff about that year Avensis?

I have had an 03 which is the same model for 6 years. Only thing to be wary of is gearbox bearings and that's not a big deal as the box doesn't have to come out to replace them. As long as the car hasn't been badly abused and occasionally got a service should be OK. I have driven mine to Budapest and back and she now has 180 k miles done. She is still in good enough nick I won't get rid of her for a while yet. She has never failed an nct.

Above average mileage, 4 months NCT, looks like a good clean would do wonders for it. Petrol in these are fairly reliable?

    Edit:

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/bmw-320i-se-2005-nct-5-18/15557528

Less miles and new NCT but nearly double the asking. Nice to see were well into e90'nomics.

8 months tax, 12 months test, hard top and doesn't immediately look like an import so it may actually be insurable. RR setup, id say thats lovely! Excellent value for money IMO.

This looks very genuine and the ad reads as though it may have been voluntary early tested until 05/18. Only 2 owners, 4x new tyres, new exhaust, good colour and sun roof.

They have a bad rep admittedly but this one looks honest, original Irish and I think they are actually quite a smart looking car when tidied up.

6 cylinder, auto, leather, climate, bulletproof.
    1.0 power, 2.0 tax, 3.0 fuel consumption.

Both the pre facelift and facelift model were sold in 2006. The headlights on the facelift ones had issues where the holders may get too hot and start melting, these were changed by Toyota under warranty at the time. I'd imagine most would have been done at this stage.

Try and get a facelift model though as that had a split folding rear seat as standard whereas on the pre facelift model only the hatchback/estate and Luna saloon came with a split folding rear seat. If looking at the 1.6 then go for the Strata model, the Aura model was very basic. If you can stretch to a 1.8 Luna then that would be my choice. They have nicer seats and a few more toys than the 1.6 models. 1.8 engine is more suited to the size and weight of car too, fuel economy is no worse than the 1.6 either.

'01 Seicento with NCT to 9/17 and a week of tax for €200 ono - if a faulty speedo is the worst of the issues it can't be so bad. Cheap motoring.
