    Dear GW33,

I hope I find you well?

I have only one observation from the previous 28 hours which I would like to share:

PVA passed to Spacecraft, who in turn assisted Benteke, who scored.

These players play for Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace have a DGW next week.

    Kind regards,

    Mr. P

    P. S. Dafuq was I thinking not bringing in Harry Kane? You always play Harry Kane against Bournemouth.

    P. P. S: I have 45 points and only Sanchez to play. I saw a modest green arrow of 1k to 17k last night but I expect that to turn red this eve.

In saying all of that. I can't quite understand how you can call it a poor decision in fairness.

His primary role in this game is man marking Hazard - both goals were lucky.

You can have Zaha/king for much cheaper and have form.

Poor decision because he is not a player who has much probability of attacking returns. In a team which is not scoring freely anyway.

So he's a poor FPL pick.

His scoring so heavily today is a freak outcome and he's been lucky in both instances.

So it's a poor FPL decision with a very unlikely and fortunate outcome.

Didn't see your post before I posted. Sorry.

He's a defensive mid for 6.2 and doesn't start every game. He has 60-odd points before today. He hasn't scored all season and only has 4 assists. He has shown no signs of attacking play in months. He hasn't absolutely no involvement in set pieces. His fixtures are mixed.

For 6.2, there are dozens of better picks.

If I was playing poker, and i got a 4 and a 9 off suit. It would be a bad decision to call a big raise preflop. If I called and the cards that were dealt out gave me a great hand it wouldn't change the fact that making the call at the time was a bad decision.

Playing to the odds of what is more likely to happen more often is what is generally considered good decision making, which can happen even if you lose. Even if you get rewarded in situations where the odds are stacked against you, it doesn't really turn it into a good decision. It's more of a lucky one (especially given the nature of the goal and the assist). But regardless of that. Congratulations on your points, you lucky sod :p

Nothing for Zlatan, Costa, Coutinho and Hazard is very welcome. I benched Valencia but didn't expect the clean sheet.

    All on Sanchez.

65(-4) all out. Nice to finally get some points out of Valencia and my last hour -4 of Costa to Kane worked well. Pity I didnt Captain him. Could do with a 1-1 draw tomorrow with no Sanchez

    62 with Sanchez to go.
    Very happy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,962 ✭✭✭Hogey007

Wow that was a bad day fantasy football wise, no Liverpool players and ibras 0 along with mc cauley subbing in with 2 for alonso means I jump from 40 to 42 points with just sanchez left.

    Poor week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

Dropping back a bit with nobody playing today but not much so has to go down as a good day.

Blanks for most big players I don't have, could have done without the Utd clean sheet but you can't have everything.

43 with Sanchez and autosub Gibson to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭munster87

    73. With no Kane, can't complain!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,530 ✭✭✭✭km79

Delighted to get the cleanie form Valencia
These are the games Jose loves to keep clean sheets in
Ibra not so good but hey 6 from the 2 is grand
    52 with Sanchez left
    And nobody else has him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,202 ✭✭✭✭Cartman78

Still on 61 points after Alonsonoshow.

After breaking into the top 200K for the first time in living memory yesterday I look like falling about 25K tonight with the dynamic duo of Sanchez and Gibson still to go

    69(-8) with Valdes to play.

Sanchez could single handeldy turn a good week into a bad week tomorrow night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,369 ✭✭✭the incredible pudding

64 (-4) which is half way decent I think given how the games turned out today. Very worried about Sanchez tomorrow though. Hopefully not punished too badly by the sale.
