So while at work today, I saw one of the operators in our canteen making a cup of tea. He placed a teabag into his cup, poured in the boiling water, and then reached for one of those long/thin/wooden stick things to mix/strain/remove the bag.

But alas... they were all gone...

Realising this folly, he reached into his cup, scalding water be damned, and in one fell swoop he ripped that teabag out and strained it as he stood with his bare hands!!!

    *OP shudders*

    *Shuddering intensifies*

This was the most badass thing I saw happen at work over the past few days and I nominate him as my Badass of the Week! :D

My question for you is, what's the most badass thing you personally saw happen this week? Who's your Badass of the Week Nomination (BWN)?

Badass of the week for me goes to the poor unfortunate guy in the cubicle next to me who sounded like he was sh*tting up his insides. Poor guy. Now thats a bad ass.

I rented a scaffold tower at the weekend to paint my house
It goes four levels but three was high enough to wash the food and chimneys from above and to give Tigger the fear of heights
So the dude that rented it to me was collecting it and I sez
That yoke is cool but it is a built wobbly at 4 high
    To which he replies
I just did a church steeple at 8 high
    He is a badass

    Pussy.

I just pour cold water into my mouth, electrocute myself until it's boiled and then place a teabag.

Teabags float on top of the boiling water. Quick fingertip pluck and job done. It's not like you have to roll up your sleeve and go to the elbow in it.

They do for a while, but not if you leave it in for the correct length of time to get a nice strong cup by which time it will have sunk.

    Agricola likes watery tea. haha

What you can't quite see there is that he lost both arms in a chainsaw accident years ago and now holds the chainsaw in his mouth.

In China these children head to school up a mountain on a dodgy looking ladder. That is quite brave.
