I get asked this every Friday by my colleagues and have started to make stuff up because there's only so far that "might go to the gym, do some chores" will take the conversation.

i usually spend weekends with himself, maybe a walk in the park, a mountain of laundry and then a big dinner and some Netflix in the evening. Awfully boring compared to others who seem to be perpetually climbing mountains or taking classes or jetting off on weekend breaks.

So what are you up to for the weekend?

I have 17 euros to my name until next Friday so not really.

I have 18 Jalapeno seedlings to plant out. That will be the highlight of my weekend. After that it'll be laundry, cleaning the kitchen and hoovering the bedroom.

Edit: In my experience, people who ask if you've any exciting plans, are only asking because they have exciting plans and want to tell you about them.

I would not be asking Bambi about any plans this weekend... of all weekends...

    Have they any tact??

    :(

Two 12 hour shifts at work, an hours less sleep between the two due to clocks changing, and hopefully I actually get up in time due to clocks changing.

    TLDR version. I'm working.

Going to go around the house changing the times on clocks and watches.
Might even try to synch them all.
This is going to be the best weekend ever.

Bringing my dog to a socialisation class tomorrow, he has a few issues, mainly he's just a bollox.
And on Sunday I'm clearing out my parents house.
That's about as exciting as it gets

I'll be having a relaxing weekend this time around. Might have a few beers and watch some movies. I already changed all the clocks to one hour forward, that will save me having to do it at the weekend, see how that goes.

Individual people have different thoughts and understanding in regard to others opinions, but the problem is this... there are some people out there that will do everything in their power to cut you off when they do not like your opinion even when it is truth.

There's usually one you usually always forget though. For me it's usually the clock on the oven or in the car.

Have to finish up some work this weekend and then take my dog to the vet. On Sunday I'm going to sleep all day! I'm going to roll out of bed and head straight to the sofa. Most exciting part of my weekend will be fresh baked bread on Sunday.

I feel like I've aged 70 years in the past year tbh. I used to do things every weekend, go on spontaneous weekends away, go out and blow through 100's of Euros on a whim. Now most weekends are cleaning or relaxing.

I'd find that exhausting. I don't even get jealous when I hear of people going scubadiving or jumping out of planes or jetsetting off on a city break during the weekend as I'd just think "jesus i'd be knackered and cranky after all that".

I like using the weekends to recharge/be a lazy backstard. Have made a manicure appointment for tomorrow and brunch plans for Sunday so that's about as much as I'll be getting up to.

Have to deliver some documents to Prague and as the person will be holding a exclusive swingers party on a hillside mansion I will be parachuting in. Usually get a round of applause off all the young European girls when I arrive this way. Just been informed also that the host has arranged for a Veyron to be at my disposal for the weekend which will be nice as was getting a little tired of the usual Porsche. Quiet weekend for me really but the clocks going forward should brighten it somewhat I suppose.

Noooooooo. I love a peaceful, quiet life

However, things have a way of.. happening. Hope not this weekend...Please not... Please, please not...

Gym after work, then out for a drink and a bite for the Irish game.
Tomorrow gym again in the morning, then lunch and head to the Cork City - Dundalk game, and finish the evening off with friends, maybe some pool and drinks.
    Will probably hike Sunday.

No major responsibilities, just take each weekend as I please really.
