Not even sure if they are on Boards but if they are I would just like to say Thank You to the two very nice Women who zipped me into and out of the lovely dresses I that I tried on in TK Max today. One was a white dress which I really liked and would have bought had it been a little bigger. Even then I was quite tempted but it was quite pricey too. It was a Ted Baker dress. I also had one orange dress and two red ones.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

I know the girls you're talking about... they thought if you lost a few pounds then the white dress would have been perfect. The orange dress did nothing for your belly though....too many shadows!

They thought you were nice apart from that!

    Happy shopping and call again...

So you're afraid of a pensioner seeing your wedges but not of people seeing your nips getting in and out of dresses?

What if you had bought the white one, was planning on wearing it out, and the neighbour was cutting the lawn? Another disaster.

I know I said the white dress looked good on me but I think I need more practice on my make-up before I decide to go out in the morning or middle of the day with a nice dress on. The rest of me do well put it this way. If I could do myself I would. My legs and arse would be my best features.

Can I just say Playtex, Spantex and support tights are a lady's three best friends. Once you put on that armour it doesn't matter what colour a dress is...it won't be the colour of the dress you're wearing any potential suiters will be gawking at.

Can I ask you a question op, are you male? Sorry if you're not or if you're offended by that, but it may help in us understanding your apprehension in being seen in wedges by your neighbour!

Was it not a fear of being caught in hedges by the neighbours?

I can identify with that. It's hard to explain how you ended up in their hedge with your lad out.

What can you say only that they're bush is more attractive than yours?

Not offended at all. Your spot on. I prefer to think of myself as a girly guy not really as a male but thats the way the world sees me ye. It was more the way I would have been walking in the wedges than the wedges themselves.

Practice makes perfect! Wear them around the house and you'll get used to them. Life is too short to be worrying about what others think of you, live your life the way you want and be happy x

Exactly. I was born female and I cant walk in high heels, I feel the same as you op. wedges are a bit easier but I still walk a bit more careful in them than flats and don't feel as comfortable, so I wear them round the house til i can. No point having them if you don't wear them!

Wedges are easier but with some practice it can become easy to walk in heels too. I agree do that it is much easier inside the safety of ones own home than outside but that also why I love wearing heels. I love how they make me taller and how they make my legs look. When I don,t wear heels I feel like I should be. I walk very fast in flats and so like how heels make me walk slower. I think heels are amazing and they take up less space than flat shoes too.

Oh its not the walking in them I have a problem with I have been wearing heels since I was 12. Its the way I walk when I wear them which I like and don,t mind. Its just my wedges were are new and it would have been my first time wearing them out. I agree with practice makes perfect and wearing them around the house which I do lots :) Its never as easy do when you go outside to walk in them as it is in the safety of your own house.

Are the wedges fitting properly? I'm just wondering if you have a wide foot or anything, that might be making it hard to balance. I'm not sure what exactly happened.

They fit perfectly. I just seen her Dad there mowing the lawn and doing a bit of weeding around the small flower bed in there front lawn and just got nervous. He is quiet old if it was a younger person I would have been grand be he is in his 70s I think. It was silly of me I should have just went. its just it was unexpected thats all.
