I hope some before off iherb but it was pricey enough.

Something I intend to use long term at hefty enough doses.

Can anyone recommend a supplier or reasonably priced means to attain it?

Also can anyone clarify the difference of D and L phenylalanine??

    It's the L variety I was recommended.
Will it make must difference outcome wise - which variety?

I know D is synthetic and L naturally occurring but more so from the point of view of the body processing the supplement.

Is one superior to the other or in any way better?

    Or are they the same?

    Not exactly.
Both L and D can be synthetic, and both occur in nature, although L is more common. Is guess the L-phenylalanine supplements are synthetic.

It's an essential amino acid. The D type is sort of like a mirror images of the L. In that it's direction is reversed. That can often mean that a substance is complete different biochemically. If you we're advused to use L, then D is possibly useless.

Well in that case would L-Tyrosine be a suitable substitute for L-phenylalanine?

The aim is to incorporate a pre-cursor to noradrenaline.

I honestly wouldn't be able to say.
Wiki tells me Tyrosine and phenylalanine are precursors to Dopamine which is a precursor to noradrenaline.

But than that I dont know much about supplementing with either.
