I'm the same. I picked it up on the PS4/Vita. It was decent, but it didn't grip me long enough to care about finishing it. That said, if it comes in at a good price, not the ridiculous prices that some of these ports are coming in at, it may tempt me to give it another go, but it would want to be sub 10.

Nintendo Switch Sales Prompt JPMorgan to Predict 43% Stock Gain (NTDOY)

I'll be taking a trip to mainland Europe this summer and I'm trying to figure out the best solution to keeping the Switch powered when away. I've done a little Google searching on this and it seems more complicated than I'd imagine, issues with USB C cable quality, the required voltage etc...

So what is the best solution? Are there any recommended USB cables to buy or a particular charger to buy that anyone can recommend?

Eurogamer did a good piece on chargers for the Switch:

Funnily enough, I was reading this review today. Looks good

So here's something I'm actually annoyed about, Puyo Puyo Tetris is 20 quid cheaper odd on PS4 than on Switch, and its more expensive here than it is in the states!

    Is it not €30 here?

As Glenn Quagmire would say, slightly edited, "Switch owners need loving too, but they've got to pay"!

No, its 50 beans on Switch. The PS4 one is 30, and on the e shop, its 39.99.

Axiom Verge isn't confirmed for Switch cos Nintendo are dragging their feet.

“No, [we] probably [will] not [support the Switch]. It’s too different than any of the others, and there isn’t a lot of- I haven’t seen a lot of third party success stories on the more recent Nintendo hardware. Nintendo, is a great market for Nintendo, but I haven’t seen a lot of huge hits made by non Nintendo studios.”

However, he also has this to say about Nintendo not needing Third Party Support:

“Nintendo doesn’t arguably need third party,” Wardell said. “You think about the Mario games, Zelda, I mean, there’s plenty there. I mean, if it was a $1000 game system, maybe I’d care. But as it stands now, there is plenty to play with on the Switch, that’s just fine.”

I actually agree though, Nintendo doesn't need 3rd party. You want your big 3rd party stuff, thats what the other consoles are for. Long as we get cool indies and the combined output of handheld/console Nintendo 1st party is more than enough for me.

Not worth 50. Should be a mid range title.

You can buy it on the US eShop, which is what I'm doing.

Thats not the point though, it shouldn't be that price here.

Any recommendations for a good case? I'm going to be flying a every week and am a tad worried about it.

Nintendo financial earnings are on April 27th! No idea what to expect, since we're not desperately clutching for a scrap of NX news this year. Maybe the formal announcement of the SNES mini.

I bought this case on eBay and I really like it.

Does an Irish credit card work on the US eshop or do you have to buy prepaid cards?

I bought The Dragons Trap yesterday but I'm great difficulty downloading it.
I spent a 15 minutes before leaving for work this morning trying to redownload it and it just wouldn't, kept getting an error message.
And this is with a wired connection too.
Any ideas out there as to what the problem is??

Then why set it 20 quid dearer on a Nintendo console when compared to other devices

Nintendo / Publishers whatever you wanna call it

No reason for the pricing to be inflated on the Switch

It's not 50, it's 40. Either way though, it's 27e on the US store so still a difference. I have Mario Kart that week so not rushing for that one, and I'm not in love with the demo, so I may leave it. I set up a US account to get Binding of Isaac, so it's good to have the option. In terms of paying, you can buy eShop cards (your own card won't work as it looks for a Zip code for validations), or possibly use the likes of Revolut and set that up with a US address (though you will have a max of 1000e before you have to verify properly)

That their projections will give some information on the timing envisaged in rolling out Virtual Console and paid online. SNES Mini news also welcomed. But I'm mainly interested in retro on Switch at the moment.

Okay so who is getting Mario kart this week? Any possibility of setting up a race with a few boardsies? I have no idea how to do this so if someone does and thinks its a good idea then count me in - it could be a bit of craic.

If you have the Meetup app there are a few of us meeting in town on Sunday to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ;-)

My credit card doesn't so I buy prepaid cards from pcgamesupply.com. I've used them 3 times now and each time the code has been delivered inside of 5 minutes.

I bought it a few days ago with no issues - what's the error you're getting ?
Also - have you tried in on another network in case the switch has issues with interrupted downloads (in case your connection is dropping for some reason)

I had a download issue with that game actually. I had a little "X" on the tile and the download had stopped at 99%. I clicked it and it resumed and finished.

A report by an investment group suggested this, so nothing concrete.
