    My switch just arrived :)

Got the joycon/snipperclips bundle and heading over to get BOTW at lunch, verrrr excite.

What's the verdict on the Hori screen protector? Seems pricey compared to tempered glass options on Amazon but I kind of want something on ASAP.

Don't go with the Hori one, reports of it getting hot and stuck to the Switch, I got an official carry case for 20 in GameStop with a decent protector with it, hasn't melted into my Switch as of yet... :)

My Switch went to the big N in a box today, the plastic cracking at the back eventually cracked me into sending it off, and my Joycon sync issues sent me scatty when I was only a 1M from the console... :(

Should be back in 2 weeks or so, giving me enough time to remember I own a PS4 Pro... :)

Speaking of sending it back... I emailed customer support over 2 weeks ago about my Left Joy-Con and still awaiting a response. How long were you waiting before they organised a repair?

I was in the same boat, emailed and heard nothing after 2 weeks, then someone posted this link here :

    http://www.nintendoservicecentre.co.uk/

I got speaking to a guy on chat and talked me through the process on the page, then they sent me out label's via snail mail and I sent it off earlier....

you can organise the repair yourself.

    https://nintendoservicecentre.co.uk/repairs
Login, fill out the form, make sure you tell them you're in Ireland, they will review and post you out a sticker to put on the box you're sending back in.

At a push, use the AskMii option on that page to talk to a support rep and they'll arrange it for you.

I wonder if its worth sending in my left controller anyway. I've not had any issues yet, but if they are fixing them for free then it would seem sensible to take advantage.

I thought it'd be out last Thursday but I think the release is 'April' so who knows. It's not given a date on the eShop the last time I checked so maybe next Thursday as this Thursday has the Jackbox and something else I can't remember.

My joycon right tumbstick makes a creaky noise when i turn it in left, its a weird sort of crackling noise, but it doesnt effect the game at all tho, im just worried that it might be a sign that it may break later. it might be sensible for me to send it off for repair aswell im thinking.

Hardly if you haven't had any issues, I don't think all Joycon are affected, just some of them

I was fighting water Ganon in Zelda and link would stay moving in the one direction (no pun intended!) and had some dodgy moment's trying to avoid Lynels and fell off the odd cliff here and there with it...

Funny enough my crack appearing on my Switch back case had the same 3 digits at the start of my serial that guys on Reddit with the same issue had

So, me and the other half were playing snipperclips about two weeks ago, things weren't working out as they should and while I was blaming her, she was blaming me and as the disagreement progressed, things moved to the bedroom and we sorted at all out upstairs.
Fast forward to this Sunday when she announced that she was "late". Cue 3 days of fear, sweating & blind panic until today when the most welcome of news came that there will be no addition to the McDade household in 9 months time.

Be careful ladies and gents, this game is undoubtedly going to be directly responsible for creating new lives, let this be your warning!

This is the great thing about the Switch, you can play it together anywhere!

"arrrrgh! I think you broke my Joycon, it's unresponsive!"
"Quick! Slide it into the dock!"
    (Fumble fumble)
    *CLICK!*
"It's not supposed to detach like that, you've taken the role play too far! Safety word! SAFETY WORD!"

On the other hand, asking your loved one if they want to have a game of 1-2 Switch...possibly the most naturally powerful contraceptive force known to humanity.

I think my enthusiasm for the catwalk sashaying bit may have eroded my innate machismo.

Splatoon 2 is July 21st, Arms is June 16th! PuyoPuyo demo should be live about now.

    Oh, and Minecraft was announced.

Battery pack for Joy-cons seems strange, especially since it uses AA batteries

And looks like if you want the yellow straps for the yellow joy-cons, you have to buy separately.

And looks like one game has found a use for HD Rumble with the announcement of Senran Kagura in Japan

If any game was ever made for dual analog sticks and the ability to seamlessly take your console off the telly and into any room in the house at short notice, it's Senran Kagura. Hurray for region free gaming!

im wondering if it could make it easier to hold the joycon by making them bulkier.

Buy second hand controllers at your peril, it's like the Rez Trance Pack all over again.
A good wash and avoid any that feel... tacky...

I know, Dead Or Alive had a similar video in the past showing the theory behind their jiggle modes, Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson had a "Happy Boob" limited edition release in Europe which included a 3D boob mouse pad.
