Rumours on Reddit that Doom (2016) will be coming to Game Pass tomorrow, 10. August 2018.

It seems to be base on a screenshot of a promotional e-mail. No official word, though, so it'll be a 'wait and see if it's true' or just some kid with too much time on their hands and basic photoshop skills.

There's a Game Pass app coming out today, in beta form, that lets you manage your subscription, view all the games, view the ones that are leaving soon, etc. Looks good.

It does. Just as cheap in Smyths atm, they're doing 9 months for €60 as a promotion.

It's good. Makes you wonder why the main Xbox app is as slow as molasses.

It's separate. Search for "Xbox Game Pass" and you'll find it.

The app can only be used to initiate download to your home console. Potential pitfall, if you have multiple consoles in your 'family'.

I got the curry's xbox deal despite having a ps4. Started playing Doom and hydro thunder on the Gamepass trial... Now I need to get another Gamepass subscription, it's a great service. Can I use a code from any region or is it locked like ps4? I actually have my ps4 account set up as a UK account, it works out cheaper. Is it too late to change my xbox region?

Xbox codes aren't region locked like PS4, so you're good

If you go to the Microsoft store online (set country to Ireland) and buy as gift. You can buy 6 months for about €41 (works out at about €7 per month instead of €9.99) and you can stack them.
