Looks like my Microsoft account has been hacked and all my security settings changed. Microsoft tell me theres fcuk all they can do about it and are sorry and have all they can do is suspend my account. Because my PC Game Pass is liked to my Microsoft account im screwed basically, cant log in to app... FFS. Still seems to be working on xbox though. I actually have no idea what ive lost because of this.. Maybe it just the rest of my pc game pass sub till next April.

That's a pretty **** situation, sorry to hear that. If you still have access on your Xbox, could you do anything through that? I just don't know enough about losing your account like that.

I cannot stress enough the importance of having 2 factor authentication on your account (on all your accounts, actually). It's a small faff to set up, but once you've got it set up, it's very easy to use, and because you can "remember this machine" or whatever everywhere, the only time that you'll need to use it is when you log in somewhere new. I use the Microsoft Authenticator app, which stores your settings in the cloud, so if you lose access to your phone, then you can recover your details.

Its a pain in the hoop. I have two kids account linked to my main account so at least they still have access and their accounts also log onto game pass on pc, so i can get in that way. I think ill just plague microsoft, cant believe theirs nothing they can do.

I hate suggesting this, but it can work. Call them out on Twitter and you might get better support. Someone was trying to hack an old gmail account of mine and I didn't get anywhere with Google support until I tweeted that they were sitting back doing nothing as someone tried to steal my personal data. It was sorted within 15 mins.

Quick question I'm sure someone will know the answer too here. I did the upgrade Gold to GP Ultimate trick, did it for 2 years. I recently got a gift of a 3 month code for GP. If I redeem this code will it just add it on to my 24 months I already have? Just want to make sure it doesn't screw up the 2 year plan I just recently setup.

If it's a GPU sub it will add 3 months to your sub, if it's a GP for Console/PC sub it will convert to 1 additional month.

Hi all. Just signed up for this - haven't played any games in years so am very out of the loop - can someone tell me what controller I need to play on Game pass? I've googled but am very confused with the multiple different type of Xbox controllers available (for context the first Xbox was the last console I owned!) Thanks in advance.

What console have you got. Xbox one controllers work on Xbox Series. The controller to use is usually the one that came with the console. Turn on Xbox and if the controller can navigate the system settings then it will work in a game.

Any PC compatible controller will work, for example Xbox controllers work on PC.

An Xbox One controller will do ya. Try GameStop or any games shop.

Is the best way to get xbox game pass console only or ultimate is to buy a 12month xbox gold sub and then upgrade to game pass after? Might get it for the christmas and new year.

I did the xbox live gold 12 month subscription, and then did upgrade to the game pass ultimate offer last year but it expired 2 months ago.

Do you still get the option to upgrade the gold membership to game pass ultimate even if you availed of the offer previously? Such a good deal!

Mine is up in the New Year some time. I got gamepass ultimate as soon as it launched which must be over two years ago now.

It does still work, even if you've previously had GPU. You will need to pay full price for the 1 month of GPU to upgrade it though.

That's good to know, there's some nice deals on 12 month xbox gold passes atm. Albeit, possibly different regions

I presume it's €12.99 instead of €1 to upgrade to GPU, which is still about €40 for the year all in

New Super Lucky's Tail is on there as well they might have a bit of fun playing a level or two but may be a bit hard for them to play properly. It is a bright vibrant game world so that's why I picked it.

Psychonauts 1 and 2 are on there as well. Same as above nice game world that are vibrant so they can have a bit of fun jumping and climbing but I doubt they could play them fully.
