    Why cancel? It's great value.

Because if you can wait, you can get it for half price.

OK, I have done that myself, it's just that I read it that Game Pass seemed like a bad deal.

Is there a list of available games for Game Pass on PC anywhere? The design of this if you're a PC user is a just mindblowingly bad.

    Think it is

    Forza Horizon 4
    Sea of Thieves
    State of Decay 2
    Halo Wars
    Halo Wars 2
    Gears of War 4
    Zoo Tycoon
    Riptide GP
    ReCore
    Super Lucky's Tale.

Don't think so as it isn't a Play Anywhere title, it may be included when the Windows Game Pass launches.

There is supposed to be a version of Xbox Game Pass specifically for Windows users coming shortly.

That's good, the current one is pretty useless.

There is no current version, what you're getting is play anywhere titles.

Go into the Microsoft Store app, click the "..." button, click "My Library". All your subscriptions will load on the left, once Game Pass appears, click it and you'll get a list of all Game Pass games, scroll through and the ones that have a button are available on PC.

Yes, but it's also called game pass.

I presumed from the wording, it'll be the same Game Pass subscription just that it will have more for the Windows gamer in addition to the regular XBox games.

I read it as a new PC Game Pass, i.e. a new subscription separate to Xbox Game Pass. Kinda like how EA already do it with EA Access on Xbox and Origin Access on PC

Thats a pity if its the case. I was hoping it would continue to be the one subscription and just an additional handful of MSFT PC games like Age of Empires and Rise of Nations.

Dont know how many games Origin Access (Or Premerie) has on PC but its significantly more then EA Access. MSFT Windows Store is poor in games in general. Doesnt currently have the scope i wouldnt think for an additional sub. Would be a fraction of the games of Steam, a lot less than Origin and probably even less than Uplay. I guess they are looking to boost the store anyway so wait and see :)

Yeah, I think that's the point, bring more games onto the store by giving devs a slice of the Game Pass pie.

Anyway, there's 159 games on Origin access (€25 a year), and 165 on "Origin Premier" (€100 a year), with premier having day and date release of new games and DLC, quite like Game Pass.

if i get the xbox game pass on amazon (reduced to £47.99) will it work on irish console? says uk only

Do I have to use the code immediately? or can I wait and use it after I get fibre broadband in 3-4 weeks time?

Codes are global. Iirc those codes have to be redeemed before some time in January and only 1 can be redeemed per account.

You will need a UK billing address to purchase it on Amazon.

Also buy 1 month of Game Pass on Xbox Live before redeeming as your first month is €1 atm. Turning on auto renew will also give you a free month.

Can you avail of the €1 month and gift another one to yourself from another account? I see the option to gift is there but not sure it would work if you use the offer.

    Not that I'm aware of.

I bought the €1 month however there was no option to auto renew or additional free month, it had itself set to auto renew so had to remember to go and turn it off. I know the Live sub gives an extra month if you turn on auto renew.

Okay, game pass strikes again. That new game Mutant: year zero Road to Eden.
I am in love. Its like x com, but with personality and does not suck. Such an amazing take on post apocalypse.
I was really really disappointed with x com 2 and stupid limited time for battles. Stealth is made so much better in this game.

    Lads, seriously, try it.

I am trying to get a few of my XBOX friends to try it aswell. I LOVED XCOM and XCOM 2 but this Mutant Road to Eden is just unreal. Its very like XCOM combat wise but I think better characters, story and immersion. And it has RPG elements in it.

    Its amazing.

Yup, completely agree. The whole atmosphere and characters just great. Combat is way better done here too. Just listening characters talk about elders and their tech is so well done. :)

Well, specifically when first party games and now new good third party games join the pass.
Yes, we wont get battlefields or other new big budget games day one on it, but if they can give us such quality smaller games, then I am more then happy.

Well in fairness I wouldn't expect to have the top big games on them. How could they be but it's good to get something like thsi and Microsoft Studio games.

As for Battlefield, should be on EA Access in a few months.;)

Even without it being there, you get a 10 hour trial of the full game. That's usually enough for me for a multi-player game.
