Ok played half way through, if you feel like watching an immersive movie but can't find anything then stick on your headphones and jump in.

Otherwise it's terrible , walking in a straight line path for ages before anything happens, first game was actually better.

I can see why it's free, god help anyone who paid for it.

I'm signed up til December 2025 currently but if ultimate moves to €20/month and they get rid of the stacking options then I can't see myself continuing to use it at that price. Maybe wait for a few games I want to play on it to come out and then get it for a month and cancel again etc.

Yeah, same. Covered until about August next year but far too pricey now for what it is. Like that, if there are games on it I want, I'll sub for a month to play and cancel again. No mention of a discounted yearly option, so I'm assuming €240/year which is just too much.

Im in a similar boat with my sub up next September. I definitely won't be subbing for 240 a year but if the stacking gold (or whatever it's going to be called) and converting to ultimate still works I'd probably go again.

It was bound to happen. As I have no idea how they were able to keep it going from a financial point of view. I haven't bought a game in a very long time as I just play GamePass games and even new releases and I'd say there are many like me.

Ive been wondering this. Mine runs out next year. Can I buy 3 years worth of core now and keep them. Then once my GPU sub runs out can I redeem these codes and upgrade again for another 2 years worth of ultimate or will they have expired or something.

You could buy them now, but the issue could be that Microsoft don't allow the conversion from core to gpu in the future and then you're stuck with them

That's the risk, they're 40 quid on cd keys atm for 12 months core, which could be a bargain by the time it needs to be renewed in the future and the offer of conversion is still about.

Conflicting information online about expiry of codes purchased from cdkeys or similar online service.

Surely Microsoft will want anyone with a sub to have access to a higher tier considering the system they currently have in place, however there could be a further shake up as they break gamepass onto the firestick and maybe other devices in the future

Finally got around to trying out the xbox app on a firestick and it's fantastic! Great having access to tonnes of stuff on any tv, proper game changer

Was thinking of giving it a go, wanted to try Starfield on it, but I read it streams the console version so 30fps…. I'm just not meant to play that game at 60fps! Some day, when it comes to PS5 maybe.

Why have they not added more Activision Blizzard games to game pass, last month would of been a great time to add the previous black ops games so people could catch up on the campaign story as that is what they are pushing for this one. just think it is odd that we only have like 2games added so far.

Probably done so as not to detract players from MW3, and Black Ops 6 later this month. Would be a perfect drop for around Xmas to have all of the older COD games on the service.

Apologies if already answered but given the recent changes to gamepass I'm confused as what the best non-VPN way to get ultimate again. Expired now after stacking gold for 3 years and a lot of online info relates to the previous methods.

Anyone recently do this and have some pointers?

It's the same method, stack 3 years of Game Pass Core and then by a month of Ultimate. It will convert into 19 months of Ultimate when done.
