    It's not a personal electronic like a laptop or game boy or iPad... Scaletrix style thing not a bad call...tho doesnt quite fit with bedroom or living room bit.

    Musing again. Could be a Tomy toy, battery powered. Cant think of any in particular. Was that toy you push, pull, twist ect... made by Tomy?

    I suppose not when you can play two player games on it...

    You can play music on it though, and I think you can on most of its counterparts

    any with an integrated screen? Something on the TV would be in living rooms more than bedrooms.

    All the full size playstations play audio CDs. I think the small ones all play mp3s. Most portable consoles would probably be considered personal devices

    you couldn't play music on snes cause it used cartridges, so could be snes too.
