    So,

    A plabe in Limerick
    Starts with C
    2 syllables
    Not a town
    Not touristy
    Nothing famous there

    Any ideas guys?

    Not guesses

    Capagh
    Croagh

That's all I can see. It's not a city or large town but could be a village I reckon hence the above. That or we are way off.

Not a guess but could it be somewhere like Castleconnell? Would fit with the two e’s clue below.

Discussion: Caherclogh but then thats not 2 syllables.

Caher sounds like it has more E's in it than it doesn, and Clogh sounds a bit like 'close'

Clare Glens is on a river that defines the Limerick-Tipp border. One side is Limerick and one side is Tipp. [This means different councils are responsible for the maintenance of each side. I suspect it's why the bridges are poorly maintained - maybe they disagree on who should take care of them.]
