buveau d'air ran and won last weekend

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,246 ✭✭✭Mgoraf

Speaking of Buvear D'Air, the horse he beat on his last start over fences by 2.5L at Warwick runs tomorrow again at Warwick. Gino Trail at 5/2 who I think is a great bet going back left handed. And Paul Townend also over for the ride..

Native River hacks up for me at Evens. Bristol De Mai was impressive the last day but the race fell apart.

In the Betfair Hurdle, I can't split Clyne 7/1 & William H Bonney 12/1 as I think both are well ahead of the handicapper. Backed both in singles and have played the RFC as well.

Bristol de Mai, Altoir, Vibro Valtat, high bridge shortie accum for me.

They've done their nuts three or four times on Magic City now he might pay some of it back tomorrow 5/1 6.15 wolv. Knowing my luck Athletic will beat him with me having backed him last time out in an easier race when not getting a clear path (touched 1/2)

Think Native River will find it tough against Bristol De Mai tomorrow.

Johnson will throw him at every fence from the front but this will suit BDM perfectly. He'll sit, jump and travel easy in behind and when Johnson enevitably kicks NR for home early I can see BDM covering the move relatively easy. Think he'll quicken a few lengths past him at this stage but while NR may finish stronger I think it'll be too late.

Given nature of race, I fully expect a turn of foot to win it.

Going via Sky's slightly annoying website for the Extra 5th(1/5) place offering in the Hurdle.
One of the Oracles proclaims "The BFHurdle will be won by a 5yo carrying 11'3"', So 'Zubayr' it is then.
Along with 'William H Bonney' NB, and couple of wildcards selections (taking advantage of that Sky EP in field of 16).
Couple of other ALTernatives mixed in also - for the mixed arrays of very low-stake, high-yield E/W four-folds.

    1315: Multiculture @3.5
    / ALT: 1315: Crack Du Tay @67

    1350: Cadeau George @9
1425: Bristol De Mai @2.25 (Price Boost)
    1500: Traffic Fluide @8

    1535: Zubayr @12
    / ALT1: William H Bonney @12
    / ALT2: Hargam @51 BP
    / ALT3: Kayf Blanco @34 BP

    1610: Vieux Lille @3.75

1645: The Welsh Paddies @21 (went to 15, so now also using also ALT1)
    / ALT1 Infinite Sun @13

Seeyouatmidnight done Bristol de mai for a turn of foot already this season over 2 and a half.
I wouldn't be surprised if they took native river on for the lead as they took a lead from seeyouatmidnight the other day and he never looked like getting to him.

That was his first run of season, 2m4 and crucially good to soft.

I'm not the horse's biggest fan at all but think today's conditions are made for him.

I hopeful that the 3rd horse can win in that 2 Horse race. They look like 2 vastly overrated horses to me. I'm probably wrong but this race could suit Le Mercurey

I generally don't back those colours, broke that rule two weeks running within the last month & paid for it. They were trying but still lost. Just never have any joy with those colours. Ever.
