Have an S7 Edge that has been freezing then proceeding to heat up to about 55-60c for a short time. The only way to get it back working is to leave it alone for a wile until it cools to about 40c then do that magic three button reset.

Well this is no good so sent it back under warranty to a Samsung accredited service center and it came back as no fault found. Ok sent it back again after more failures but this time it came back stating there was an electrical fault and the main logic board has been replaced.

Now I did notice something strange the new repaired handset has the same IMEI and SN hmmm is this right I thought replacing the logic board would of changed these??

Oh yea the fault has reoccurred once again and exhibits the exact same behavior. During standby the phone freezes up and starts to heat.
