Looked at 2 post drivers at the weekend. A vector and Malone . Got prices of a few . (based on toplink with check valve, tilt and external controls) Malone €2900 Vector €3690 Rainbow €2900 Major €3300/3500 (not confirmed yet) Kentec €3000 So any feedback on any of the above? I used a Malone one pervious but its 10/12 years…

They will snap regardless.
I was driving 6 inch posts into rock years ago with a malone .
We learned to make a small hole with a crowbar before putting them in to give the point somewhere to go .
Before we did this we were snapping 6 inch posts.
They never went violently.
If you had a cap to hold the post you would struggle to drive the post straight into the ground . It would always be slightly off
