Two feeds for Mayo Monaghan and two for Laois Louth on 7 East as well but encrypted.

Thanks. Did you pick up any feeds last Sunday, or the Sunday before. Premier Sports were covering Donegal v Kerry live the week before, was wondering if coverage was elsewhere........wouldn't mind getting hold of the KK v Clare game this coming Sunday. Must be out there as TG4 are showing deferred.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,319 ✭✭✭✭dxhound2005

TG4 have started using 28 East for their feeds which is very unusual and they are now encrypted. Their feeds cannot be decoded by most satellite receivers anyway even when they are in the clear. Type "GAA" into the Search box on Satelliweb to see details of recent feeds.

    http://www.satelliweb.com/?section=livef&langue=en

I was away at matches the first two rounds of the football League, and I don't expect to be in a position to check for any feeds on Sundays for the rest of the League either (including hurling only Sundays).

Thanks dx, are they now using biss?
Their on air Planar 422 YUV encoder had stopped me being able to view them anyway.
    Cheers

TG4 were on 28 East again today for the Sigerson Cup, encrypted. I don't know what sort of encryption.

Laois vs Offaly FTA for Eir on 7 East.

    12704 V 7200

Also on 12695 V 7120 with score and time captions.

Also on 12625 H 7120 and 12511 H 14250 but dont have a dvb card so cant view any of the 3.

I couldn't get the other 2 to clear at all, I thought they were encrypted. The stream I do have is very hit and miss, don't know if its the laptop or the receiver.

Yeah i think they are encrypted anyway. What dvb are you using? Might look at getting one.
    Cheers

It's good to see that one of the feeds is in the clear with the right equipment. I have the USB receiver TBS 5925.

    GAA Iarbheo_0282 12599_H_14250_20170219_150550.jpg

12625 encrypted is channel name Clare v Kilkenny Clean which might suggest it is for RTE. 12511 encrypted is TG4 Beo Waterford v Tipp.

I am back early from a trip.

I'm using an xtrend et8000 and streaming it to my laptop. A friend of mine tried it using an ancient dreambox 800 and managed to get it as well but you couldn't watch it, way too much freezing.

I've a vu duo2 and I'm going to try it next week and see if I can transcode the stream to a level that would make it watchable on the laptop.

Was it watchable on your setup? I used to have a desktop with a dvb-s card in it a good few years back but I haven't had it setup since most of the the 4.2.2 feeds went to HD.

I also have a few azbox's but I think they're day is long gone

Perfect from a strong signal. I have the TBS looped through from my main receiver the Dr HD, on which I tune in the channels first. The TBS is expensive but great for clearing these sorts of feeds.

The TBS 5927 was recently launched, much the same receiver. I prefer this setup to having an internal computer card. I use the DVB Dream software with the receiver.

Just to add that a good quality graphics card is needed for these feeds when using a PC receiver. I got a new PC built last year with a GTX 970 card, which handles the feeds very smoothly. Before that my fairly ancient Medion PC from Lidl struggled badly, with a lot of stuttering and glitching.

It may be that most laptops will not have good enough graphics to cope with streaming the feeds smoothly.

There are also 4K channels and feeds now and they will probably need even better graphics cards. The 970 can be got for about €200 now but that is nothing compared to the eye watering amounts of money that top of the range gaming cards cost.

Eir feed 7 East from Croke Park for Dublin Waterford, might be on for the Mayo game later.

Clean Croke Park 11171 V 7120. Not strong and no audio.

Can confirm the same with todays Waterford v Cork game. I'm using the same graphics card.

Obviously a spoiler there if wanting to watch it delayed.

Something a bit different. Galicia v France in Gaelic Football.

    http://www.gaa.ie/features/feature/gaelic-football-capturing-the-imagination-galicia/

Feed is a bit weak, with some breakup for me. Galicia 1-3 France 1-13 after 30 minutes.

Doubt it. It's usually only the TG4 live game and deferred game.

TG4 feed on 1 West for Connacht Under 21 Football Final, Sligo v Galway.

    11463 V 7120 channel name M3A MAIN 2.

In HD but camera angles not as good as usual TG4 coverage. The match is not live on TG4, but is being carried online 30 seconds behind the satellite feed. Into the second half at 7pm.

Also 12541 H 7120 channel name VITELclean, encrypted, probably GAA. 12596 (12599 with me) is also encrypted.

The 4:2:2 on 12511 resolves on my TBS receiver.
