    Probably Kane
Nice to see pVa in the poll

Anyone else not like when options are grouped together such as Alli and Eriksen? Anyway, I'll probably captain Lukaku.

My season is turning desperate and I'm turning to Jesus to fix it.

    Going to captain Jesus religiously.

Jesus for me. Could be a huge differential in my leagues.

I'm torn as to whether to go with Heaton vs Watford or stick with Alli vs Middlesbrough or even Kane vs Middlesbrough

Lukaku for me. Would captain Kane if I had him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,081 ✭✭✭GetWithIt

I hope all those with the Jesus puns appreciate how this has worked out in the past.
Lukaku for me. At home against a poor defence.

That's generally when he will let you down. I can't bring myself to captain him again.

After last season I swore never again but finding myself giving serious consideration to captaining Lukaku

    Except on MNF

The hottest player by a mile in FPL right now is Seamus Coleman. I don't have him, I have Baines, but if I did I think I'd put the armband on him this week at home to Bournemouth.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

Going with Aguero. Please play him Pep. He won't be in my team for much longer but I'm praying he can say goodbye with a few goals.

    Interesting idea...

KDB to pull the strings, set them up for Aguero/Jesus/Sterling and maybe pop one in himself.

Unfortunately not quite brave enough to put it on a defender. Leaning towards Aguero my self, unless I transfer him out for Jesus and give it to him. Unfortunately I don't trust Pep to start either.

Failing all that, it's transfer in Ibra and give it to him.

was thinking of using my triple captain to use on aguero or kane or just save it. Tough one

absolutely don't use it on Aguero. He was dropped for last game and may not start

I wouldn't use it on Kane either.
Boro have one of the best defensive records in the league.

Only at home is their defensive record great I thought?

Edit scrap that, up there with the big 6 for best defensive record away.

Still missing Chambers and Friend... would fancy Spurs to put a few past them.

As would I, but triple captaining Kane this week is crazy imo.

Oh I agree, I'm captaining him myself but no way would I use the tc.

Going with Coleman. Hoping Everton continue with their 3 at the back approach

May go Ibra again. Don't trust Pep to start Jesus

I want to captain Ali but not sure if that is far too risky. Kane likely just as risky really.

    I'm between Alli and Lukaku.

Ibra a consideration but form last 2 dodgy. Might need to resort to stats to sort this.

    so much pressure

    long
    kane
    ali
    de bruyne
    redmond
    davis

think ill pick a name from a hat

I've Alli too so I get your thinking that 2 spurs will do and clean sheet and extra point for goal for the mid adds to the call between them.
Zlatan is my other option. Leicester have poor form but are like "an almost" Burnley at home.

Big ROM is option 2 for me as well, don't fancy IBRA away to Leicester at all, he has been poor last couple.

Lecister have done well vs Utd before and I'd expect a tight game tbh so he isn't an option for me at all.

Probably fairly relevant for those considering captains. This is the number of times the top 6 have scored more than 2 goals in the league.
    Arsenal 11
    City, pool , Chelsea 8
    Spurs 7
    Utd 4

Spurs to join the other 3 teams in 2nd place then after this GW ;)

With this applied to my team my best option is Sterling, mother of god...

Wow that's absolutely shocking from united
Why would we captain zlatan again looking at that

And the amount of times their opponents conceded more than 2 goals:

    Swansea 11
    Hull 8
    Leicester 5
    Boro 3
    Arsenal 2
    Chelsea 1

    Everton 4.
Bouremouth conceded more than 2 in PL 10 times.

And Bournemouth have conceded 3 in an amazing 5 of their last 6 away games including Millwall. 4/5 in PL.

They've also conceded 10 in their last 4 league games, 19 in the last 8 with just one CS.

And yes, I am desperately trying to rationalise captaining Lukaku.... :)
