Anyone tempted to captain Giroud now?

Keane and Mee are well equipped to handle Giroud, whereas Sanchez can just dart in between them and play in between the lines and i doubt they'll be able to handle him. My prediction is Giroud to make a nuisance of himself and occupy the centre backs, while Sanchez will be the one to benefit!

    KevIRL is triple captaining him.

Only if he scores a hat-trick.

    Nobody for Lukaku at all?

I had it on Sanchez, changed it to Hazard a couple of days ago after reading this thread but I haven't felt comfortable about it so I've stuck it back on Sanchez.

Sanchez all the way. Tried to be clever last week with Giroud (C) and it cost me six points.

    Hazard.
It could be my last chance to give him the armband.

Think I'm going with him over Sanchez too, it's a marginal call though and could backfire spectacularly

Sure is. Hull let Livermore go to WBA too so I guess a soft penno is less likely.

Seems I don't have the balls to captain Lallana so it'll be Sanchez.

I can't fathom if captaining Costa this week is too risky a decision. How high is the risk of him not starting and how does the risk/reward ratio stack up to say for example Sanchez.

Don't have nor want Hazard so Giroud is the other real option but I doubt I'd end up going with him.

    Firmino

    Firmino
Is that not really dangerous given his woeful form?

Yes and I'll probably chicken out in the morning ! But I don't really have too many options , Kane Defoe and IBRA up front , and no Sanchez . Some very lucky captain picks have seen me rise to the top 5000 in the last few weeks . Who knows , it may continue
He did get a goal and an assist against Swansea earlier in the season . If cout is back he may play further forward .
    Or not at all :)

I'd be considering a transfer in to get yourself a captain. Staying without Sanchez for these next 2 fixtures could likely bite you hard.

    Will Busts also be tempted?

I had Sanchez for most of the season til giroud came back in the picture, will take a chance this weekend .

I don't think Costa will start and Giroud's gametime isn't really guaranteed either.

I'd be looking elsewhere for my captain.

Hes my captain anyway. I fully believe he will start and will try to prove a point after last week and to get club and fans back on side

Going to Arsenal match so it's gotta be Sanchez

My inclination is that he will. The risk would have been that Conte might want to go with an unchanged team after a great win at Leicester.

But if you look at the team they went with that day a back 5 (with Alonso and Moses as attacking wingbacks) and 2 defensive midfielders Kante and Matic.

My feeling is that they won't go with a back 7 like that at home to Hull who will sit back and try soak up Chelsea pressure. I expect Fabregas and Costa to come in for probably Matic and Willian.

But I don't know if I'm sure enough of that to captain him.

I wouldn't want to be concerned about my captains minutes on the pitch.
