    Oh yeah, when it's baked in it'll be able to do the things you ask a good bit better. I just thought, I didn't have to treat it like a robot. There was a better sense of natural language :)

    Or if it's location, wonder if you left your VPN on set to the US over the time it's being activated?

    Seen as everyone talking about Apkmirror and updates

    Google have recently made a feature available to app developers that allows them to list their apps for free temporarily. Some have taken advantage and have made some of their icon packs downloadable for free. There is a list on this Reddit thread.

    Personal security apps - anybody recommend any?

    Like if you were in a dodgy area, have an app loaded and ready to emit a loud siren or something to scare off scumbag?

    And alert them that you're carrying a smartphone.

    What phone and rom? That is a feature of MIUI roms and possibly other roms.

    Alternatively you could use this AppLock or another similar app.

    Folks

    Any recommendations for an alarms app that will only trigger alarms when you're in a specific location, like home or work? I have a few daily alarms set up, but if I'm out of the office during the day or away from home in the evening, the reminders are not relevant. So I only want the alarms to trigger when I am there.

    I've found a few apps that allow me to trigger an alarm when I get to a specific location, like this one;

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fulminesoftware.alarms&rdid=com.fulminesoftware.alarms

    But that's no use to me. I want the alarm at a specific time, but only if I'm at that specific location.

    All suggestions welcome.

    Tasker or llama should do what you want here.

    llama in particular is even known as a location profile app.

    turn your old phone into a cctv camera - Search for Alfred app - works on my amazon tablet (as a monitor) using an iPhone 5 as a camera.

    Handy one of you have an old phone lying around in a drawer
