She ran massive poker games, as she is explaining now. The movie Molly's Game is about her. A good movie.

    Tubridy has fainted.

Fair play to her for coming on the show.

    This is fascinating.

She's been on the circuit recently. Must have a book. But then I thought the movie was based on her book, so I'm not sure what she's selling.

If she was on the LLS, Tubridy would have her crying by now.

She's a great guest and Tommy's style works brilliantly here.

    Agree on both counts.

His joke about the Galway Races was extremely well delivered

    This is fascinating.

That's what I was thinking and am late to walk my dog because of it.

No death or cancer and sickness.

It wouldn't be as good as this anyway. He'd just go through what the movie covered and then say thanks, send her off and bring out Keith Barry.

That was a really enjoyable story, loved how she was allowed to tell it without interruption which some other RTE types would be only to willing to do and drag the story away from the story teller.

Great guest, Tommy let her speak too without asking her about deaths in her family going back to the famine era.

Because the other guy can phone the Irish mob and get them to arrange it lol lol

How did they bag her for the show?!
    Fascinating stuff :-)

Wonderful stuff. Although it was clear that Tommy had some background info.

If you haven't seen the movie, watch it. She had balls of steel. Although rejecting the mafia's offer might have been a bit silly :D

Turbridy has all the background, analysis and questions on his guests and still f**ks up and has many awkward moments. This lad hasn't a clue who is turning up and rarely puts a foot wrong while discussing deeply personal and sensitive topics.

Anyone who watched the film would have background info. And he said he'd watched it, just like thousands and thousands of other Irish people.
    Great film by the way!

Film isn't as good as the story to be honest but it is worth a watch

    It was brilliant.

When there was silence, Tiernan didn't interject to fill the space or coax things along, which made it all the more compelling.

Even this show's human interest interviews are better. Tubridy would mangle this interview too.
