Athenry Poultry Sale Cancelled this Month

Athenry Poultry Bring & Buy Sale that was to be held in the mart car park this coming Sunday the 8th January has had to be Cancelled due to Bird Flue.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused but we had no choice.

Hopefully it will be able to continue as planned in February and the following months, (2nd Sunday of every month)

Yes,
unfortunately we won't be having anymore sales this year,
because we have missed 4 months already and the insurance costs have gone right up to a point where we can't afford them.

The Athenry Poultry Sale Is Back on.

Now the ban has been lifted the sales will start again.

The first Sale will be on Sunday 14th May
Starting at 9am and running until 1pm.

They will be on the second Sunday of each month and continue throughout the year.

Due to the rising cost of Insurance we have to raise the entry fee to cover the costs.
We are a non profit making club but we still need to cover the costs involved.

The entry fees we be :-

Buyers - Free
Regular Sellers - €5
Commercial Sellers - €15

They will also be a collection bucket at the gate collecting for the Galway Hospice,
All donations are voluntary but very much appreciated,

The Sales are to be held in the car park at the front of the Mart in Athenry,
besides Joyces Supermarket,
Take junction 17 of the M6 motorway.
