Depending on how today goes, possibly getting Aguero in.

Otherwise hoping to fix defence a little.

Aguero to Costa more than likely now...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,397 ✭✭✭OneColdHand

    Possibilities:

    Kane to Costa
Siggy to someone for under £8.3m. Either Alli or Pedro likely.
    Pickford replacement

    Aguero OUT!

Depends on this week's results, but on the face of it he's playing a wobbly Everton side with no Gueye. I'll prob have to buckle to Ibra pressure no doubt

Is Mane off to the AFCON now or does he have gameweek 21?

    Wildcard almost inevitable now.

    So many gaps to plug.

    Do not do that
We'll sell j rod by all means but do not sign traore
He reminds me of a really quick dog running around after a ball. And then just nudging the ball along with his nose until he hits an obstacle

Think people are crazy to do any major transfers before next Thursday. So many PL, FA and League cup games to go before GW21

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,602 ✭✭✭patmac

I have, Nyom, Zaha and Mane, I assume that they will be red flagged, will that mean they will be price protected.

Nyom is not going I don't think. They'll be eligible to drop but will be protected once the flag is lifted.

How does price protecting work? Is there anywhere to read up about it?

KDB back out, I deserve a kick up the arse for bringing him in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 212 ✭✭Fant11

Is Phillips becoming a must-have? Wouldn't mind catching his price rise this evening but has Spurs away next, a likely blank. Snodders has two tough away fixtures after the next match also. Looking to bank profit on zaha on one of them.

Payet out for someone cheaper and more productive.

Not planning on wildcarding for a while I think

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,024 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

    Origi's time is up.....Defoe maybe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,174 ✭✭✭pimpmyhat

    Giroud possibly
Arsenals next few fixtures are good

Mane out. I already have Alli, Lallana, Phillips, and Sanchez. I don't have the funds for Hazard, so I've no idea who to bring in. (I refuse to go back to Eriksen after how he has failed me over the last few weeks!)

    Yeah he's gotta go.
This third striker spot is killing me. It might be simpler to get Kun!!!! I let a FT disappear into the ether last week cos I couldn't take him out before Sunderland.

I've 13.7M for my last 2 attacking spots unless I lose one of my big hitters.

    I have Defoe, Ibra, Costa

There's no room for Aguero, right ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,880 ✭✭✭✭dahat

No transfer hopefully after a wildcard.

Not at the minute in my opinion. I'm in exactly the same predicament.

2fts Baines and Phillips for Siggy and Amat.

I wouldn't be selling any of those 3

Am I mad for thinking of getting rid of Kane for Defoe? Would free up a lot of funds. Already have Costa and Ibra.

Kane has Alli, Eriksen, son and the full backs creating chances for him
he will get his share of goals
    Defoe on the otherhand

I'd encourage you to go for it.

He was on my shortlist of 3 this weekend but as a Brunt owner I didn't fancy it.

I love Snodgrass but they have 2 semi's coming up and then possibly the worst set of fixtures you can imagine.

Townsend and Stanislas were my other two (on shortlist) and I went for Stanislas and maybe wrong decision based on his injury record.

Sunderland lose 3 first teamer snow to afcon so that might hamper Defoe.

How do you look at it though ?

If they concede they have to go looking for goals but they may also just work for clean sheets.

Thought their determination was mighty impressive today though.

Gray in for Origi tonight most likely.
Although did Barnes take a penno lately?

Somebody has posted the the injury to Sturridge could be serious so maybe premature to ship out Origi.

Sur' what's another day. 6 teams tomorrow and Spurs/Chelsea on Wednesday.
    I'll wait.

Yes but future goals I'd expect Kane to have a strong 2nd half of the season.
    Spurs creating lots of chances.

I think Defoe will struggle to replicate his form for the remainder of the season

My love for Sergio if anything has grown thanks to that effing incredible finish and snagging 2 bonus from 45m. :)

Pep was an idiot. But he was made look like an idiot when the team he put out was woeful and he had to roll out the two stalwarts at HT. From the stuff on City website Jesus won't be a consideration for a few weeks yet. I'll definitely be holding for Everton at least.

That was always my plan as a non Costa owner. Avoid doubling up with Haz for Spur and Leicester away and get him back for Hull at home for Aguero if necessary, for Ibra or Benteke if Aguero was paying off.

I have two free transfers for the next GW now as I forgot about the deadline yesterday, probably would have banked it anyway. Got 42 points with 4 still to play so didnt hurt me yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 674 ✭✭✭carnie

I have Mané and Zaha departing for the dark continent this week. I'm thinking I may swap Mané to Lallana. I don't know what to do with Zaha.

Also I've been playing a 3-5-2 over the Christmas and I think it's time I went back to the favoured 3-4-3. So I'll need to drop Diomande too. I will probably hold out till next week.
