Weighing up a -12 rather than using the wildcard...

    Kane to Aguero
    Origi to Benteke
    Siggy to Phillips
    Holebas to Chambers

I'll blow the wildcard pretty early I reckon, never hold it too long....

I'd blow the wildcard but my season is in tatters so can't really take my advice tbh.

Origi and Sanchez to Aguero Snodrgas?

Would give me Ibra Costa Aguerro, Pedro Ali Firmino with alternating Snodgras and my 4th defender based on fixtures

I'd be very hesitant on getting rid of Sanchez.

Wildcarding. Can't allow this slide to continue. No chance of any double risers is the downside with the short week in it but has to be done.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

    Kane to Aguero
    Carroll to Barnes
    Walker to Ake

    For a -4 points.

Leaves me with 1.2m ITB to then change De Roon and or Iwobi the following week!

    Heaton Grant

Alonso Brunt Mc Auley Amat AKE

Sanchez Hazard Siggy De Roon Iwobi

    Ibra AGUERO BARNES.

    Views??

Really don't know yet, although I probably won't get Aguero.

Hull haven't scored away from home since GW8, and with rotation an issue I think I'm going to captain Brunt...

Little chance of double rises in any week these days.

I keep writing off Baines because I keep imagining that he's like 6.5 million.

5.3 million would be a consideration for sure

Toyed with getting him in this week and having a 433. If Everton were in any way capable of clean sheets he'd be huge value.

The only advice I can give all you guys is, don't have any Everton players.

We're losing our best player in Gueye so I imagine it will be zero Clean Sheets from now as opposed to the 1% when we did get them

I took a punt ahead of the Hull game. There's no way he's staying long term. Everton are poison.

With heaton away to city I think I need a pickford replacement
Grant or hennessey, both 4.3. Hennessey seems to have the better fixtures to rotate with him thanks to my fpl wizard app but my concern there is mandanda back in a couple of weeks could challenge him whereas now Grant's extension looks secure he should be safe enough until butland is back.
Who are others with heaton/pickford combos going with?

I'm all set for Siggy -> Lallana but then saw Lallana's upcoming fixtures

I transferred in Holgate this week (don't ask) any chance he might get some game time?

Pretty much every second one is juicy too though
    Swansea and hull !

I'm going to bank anyway and have a mini wildcard then
Otherwise the temptation to WC for real will be too strong !

    Hi Pat,

Unfortunately I don't think so. Every Everton fan wants Holgate to start, even ahead of Coleman, or push Coleman further up.

Koeman seems to like playing the Experienced back 4 which is nuts.

I think we have the oldest back 4 in the premiership.

Out of the 3 kids (Calvert-Lewin, Davis, Holgate) That seems to be the order in which Koeman rates them.

Albeit all in different positions but Koeman likes playing people out of position it seems!

With Delefou likely to go to AC milan on Loan in January, i think we'll see more of Davis(4.3 Midfield) /Calvert (4.5 Striker)

If anyone has questions related to Everton feel free too give a shout

It's a shame 22 points from 4 full games is a good return for 4m, 2 clean sheets in his last 2 games as well.

By the way I can do Eriksen/Costa to Kun/Phillips very short term and risky but could have huge rewards.

    Well that didn't last long
    Siggy to Phillips

Which then leaves me with more than enough for costa to aguero for a hit :D
    Tempted if aguero looks decent
NObidy else will have him and I'd captain him

    Thoughts on keeping Phil Jones???

Smalling and Bailly looked ok, not great. Surely he'll start on Monday right

    Worth a -4 for:

    Siggy > Phillips
    Carroll > Benteke

    ?

Hhhmmm that probably makes more sense than my proposed siggy to Phillips costa to aguero minus 4 !

Phillips at home to Hull though

If I do that then I can't get Benteke in (who plays Swansea) and would have to play Andy Carroll against United

Fair enough, you should probably go ahead then and pull the trigger.

I'm thinking of this: Allen > Philips

I want to then do Siggy > Lallana next week but Lallana is looking like he'll rise tonight and I won't have the funds to make the transfer then.

Should I pull the trigger on both tonight for a -4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,677 ✭✭✭Aenaes

Carroll out but need to find a 6.4 striker. I could downgrade Pedro/Sterling for -4 but don't really want to. I still have Pickford so Foster needs to keep healthy.

Siggy to Lallana a definite. Might even wildcard not liking big part of my team.

Both Philips and Lallana heading for a rise now. Decisions, decisions!!

I'll be doing Kane & Payet to Aguero & Lallana after this game if they both come through it ok

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

I'm activating my wildcard for next week had Aguero he got suspended for 4 games so got rid for Costa then he got suspended so now have a pretty **** team and with Mane leaving to AFCON and not affording Aguero
I'm going to change the majority of my team rather than taking a hit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,667 ✭✭✭Klonker

Need to get someone cheap in for Amat as VVD is suspended next week and no way I'm selling him.Have 4.7m to spend, thinking Pieters or Ake or maybe a Palace defender depending on how they look tomorrow.

He's definitely a first choice but there's a good chance he'll be rested at Sunderland having played 90 today.

Going to be pedro in for hazard I think - sorry Eden, but I need the cash to upgrade elsewhere :(

It's also hard to know exactly what the dynamic will be when Coutinho returns very soon.

Any Liverpool heads reckon on how/if that affects Lallana?

With everyone fit the front 6 would be Lallana, Henderson and Wijnaldum in the middle with Mane, Firmino and Coutinho in the front 3. Mane going to the AFCON probably means Origi plays with Firmino in the Mane role.

Lallana as part of the midfield 3 is good FF wise as it means he's coming onto the ball rather than playing with his back to goal in the front 3. Most (possibly all) of his goals this season have come when playing in the middle 3.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭kopite386

Lalana is a guaranteed starter unless injured
I say even against Sunderland he will play and Phil will be on the bench just back from injury then when Mane goes to AFCON it will be Couthino and Lalana in starting XI and Can dropping to the bench with Origi up front
