    Edit: Beaten to it :p

Your looking for a special hair clipper that Wahl have designed it's called "Wahl Balding Hair Clipper" it shaves nearly as close as you'd get without throwing on some foam and using a Mach 3

    Who cuts your hair ?

Another barber? Or in the case of lady barbers with longer hair a ladies hairdresser :)

When it was short I trimmed it myself, or my dad would tidy it up. When I wanted a restyle I'd head over to my uncle's salon and my cousin would cut it for me .. it's long now so doesn't need much looking after ;)

For the closer shave I go for a Mach 3 razor while in the shower, usually once or twice a week. Literally takes a few minutes to do once your hair is only a few mill long.

Do you use shaving gel on your head, or just shave away with shampoo?

Ah you'd have to use shaving gel!

Yeah thanks. But I already use the lawnmower on my back... plus the strimmers on my pubes and the chainsaw in bed...

    Is that you Patrick Bateman?

I'm more than 20 years head-shaving, and have been through Remington, Phillips, Baby-Bliss, etc and of them all, the very best is now my Wahl Balding.
The best and tightest cut you're gonna get without resorting to a wet shave.

Hey thanks for the recommendation. I already have a Wahl Super Taper. Any idea if the 2105 Standard; Cutting Length 0.4mm Balding Clipper blade would fit the Super Taper or would I have to buy the whole thing again?
    Thanks!

I'd imagine they're all a standard, modular fit - but to be on the safe side, you should drop a mail to:

I emailed Wahl and they replied:

"The Super Taper Clipper, requires the standard 1006-400 blade, we wouldn’t recommend using the 2105 balding blade on the Super Taper Clipper, as this blade is so fine, any movement of the blade lever will hinder the blade useless."

I suppose it's probably best to fork out another €100+ to buy a new machine then... unless anyone else knows better?

I got mine in Sally Sallon Services Bray for €72.
I bought it about a month ago and it was their last one in stock, though they may have re-stocked by now.

    Otherwise online:
