Studio recommendations

    Hi all,

We got married last month and we are not totally satisifed with our photos, we'd have like a few more good ones. The photographer was a family member and unfortunately he seems to have had a bit of an off day (it happens I guess). The candid photos he took through the day are good but unfortunately the staged ones are a mixed bag, some very good and some just don't seem to look right.

Anyway, we were considering going to a photo studio or hiring someone to take some photos of the two of us, does anyone have any recommendations or done anything like this before?

I have literally no clue how much this would cost, anyone got a ballpark? I'd guess an hour would be enough time, and we'd just be looking digitals, maybe with one or two prints from the collection.

    We're in Dublin 18.

MOD NOTE - Please do not offer services on this thread.

Have a look through the Services Thread which is sticky at the top of this page. Feel free to add a post there too (just read the rules in the first post)

Remember that the studio session may take an hour but there are lots of overheads and then time to edit the files. A studio is an expensive facility and good editing takes time and experience. This all has to be covered in the fee.

An hour isn't a huge amount of time really.
